Have you ever felt bored with your current situation in life?

I know I have.

Everyday it's the same cycle.

Wake up.
Go to school.
Meet your friends.
Sing.
Class time.
Sing.
Lunch time.
Sing.
Class time.
Sing some more.
Student Council meeting.
End of school.
Meet friends after school.
Karaoke, sing some more.
Go home.
Practice singing.
Eat.
Homework.
Sleep.

Then you wake up and repeat the whole routine again.

Do you ever wish you could be something much more than this?

To fight for something, to believe in something...

To show the world what you have to offer, not just the same group of people.

I know I have.

Enough questions, I know you didn't come here for that. Because you're more interested in answers, aren't you?

My name is Aiko Takasaki, and I'm a third-year student at Jinguu Music Academy in Tokyo.

I'm what you could call, talented. A girl in the world's largest city, waiting for the chance to break free from her monotonous cycle, and make a name for herself.

Guess I've gotten used to big city life these past three years. It makes a difference from living in the snow white town of Hakodate.

But just because I wasn't born in the city, it doesn't mean I'm a pushover, I stand and speak for what I believe in.

That's how I became the Vice-President of the Student Council here at this school.

Do I wish that I could have become the President? Sure. But sometimes you have to accept when you've lost fair and square.

Girls' High is a school built on a foundation of traditions, but in recent years we've seen less and less students enrolling here.

It's frustrating.

Because I may be bored with my current situation, but I really do love this place.

Not everyone in the world can say they're enrolled at a music school in the world's most populated city, where they can meet with their friends and live a healthy student life...

...however monotonous and boring it may be sometimes.

MIO: "Aiko, you're spacing out again."

AIKO: "Huh?"

MIO: "Geez, do we really have to drag you back down to Earth every time?"

TAO: "Exactly! Tao finds it complicated to talk to her friends when they don't listen."

AIKO: "Oh, sorry... What were you talking about?"

TAO: "The latest scores Tao has composed! They should be perfect for you both to sing to. You should both be grateful for Tao's efforts."

AIKO: "Thank you."

MIO: "We're sure that this will put our grades at the top of the class. That first-year Hazuki won't know what hit her."

AIKO: "Don't talk bad about the President. It's bad enough that every year's classes have merged."

MIO: "Oh right, I forget that you're her assistant."

AIKO: "Vice-President, not assistant."

TAO: "Ugh, taking orders must be a pain. Tao thinks that you should challenge her for her seat!"

AIKO: "No, I'm not nearly as capable of leading the student body as she is."

TAO: "But you're such a leader! Hazuki thinks she can walk into our school and take charge? Tao knows that you would be perfect for the role, she insists!"

MIO: "Stop getting carried away, it doesn't make things any easier."

TAO: "Awww, you're always such a sourpuss Mio!"

MIO: "S-Sourpuss?!"

AIKO: "Okay, let's just calm down!"

TAO: "See? You are a leader!"

AIKO: "But that's no life for me. I would hate to be confined to a life like that."

MIO, TAO: "Huh?"

AIKO: "Hana has it hard enough already with this school's finances. I don't want to make things more complicated for her. Taking that seat would transfer all of those problems onto me. Solving all of them would be a waste of valuable time."

MIO: "True, you wouldn't have a lot of time left to sing with me, or listen to Tao play guitar."

TAO: "Right! Who else would be there to listen to Tao's perfect performance?"

MIO: "...Me?"

TAO: "Oh, right! Just like Tao is there to listen to you play piano, Mio."

AIKO: "Don't you ever think that we could be more than this?"

MIO: "What do you mean?"

AIKO: "Like...the three of us should be performing on a stage somewhere?"

MIO: "I already do, being the President of the Theater Club and all."

AIKO: "No, I'm not talking about performing at the school. I'm talking about taking to the world, making something for everyone to enjoy. To become bigger than we ever thought we could be."

TAO: "Tao thinks we're already big. She loves our little circle!"

MIO: "Yeah, I'm happy with the way things are."

AIKO: "I see... Maybe you're right."

Perhaps things are better like this...

HANA: "Aiko, can I have a word with you?"

AIKO: "President? Um, sure."

HANA: "Please, I told you. Call me Hana. Tao, Mio, can you please join us?"

TAO, MIO: "Why?"

AIKO: "It's for our daily meeting, remember? We need fresh new ideas to keep our school open."

HANA: "I agree, though it appears we are running out of options."

AIKO: "Actually, I have an idea. But it might be a little stupid..."

HANA: "Don't be so hard on yourself, we need every idea we can get."

...

*LATER, IN THE STUDENT COUNCIL OFFICE*

TAO: "Tao is just saying that hijacking a blimp and broadcasting our love for Jinguu Music Academy might just work!"

MIO: "We're trying to boost enrollment numbers... NOT get arrested."

KAYO: "Ooh, what about free rice for everyone! Everyone loves rice, right?"

HANA: "I understand, but our school is already financially deep in the red..."

RIHO: "What about ramen instead?"

HANA: "That's...even more expensive."

SAYA: "What about a maid café?"

HANA: "That could work, but... Is this just another excuse for you to wear a maid costume?"

SAYA: "N-No! Maybe..."

HANA: *Sigh*

SAKURA: "It's important that we balance our budget, but things aren't looking promising..."

HANA: "Oh, Aiko! Didn't you have an idea?"

AIKO: "Yeah, but it's pretty stupid..."

HANA: "But I want to hear it."

AIKO: *Sigh* "Promise me that you won't laugh."

HANA: "I promise."

AIKO: "Idols have been gaining support recently. What if our school had a group of idols to represent it? We could call it, JINGUU'S SCHOOL IDOLS or something like that. We have enough talent in our ranks for performers, we can easily get students to build the stages and create costumes. It would be a low-budget solution, don't you think?"

HANA: "..."

AIKO: "See? Something like this would never-"

HANA: "THAT'S IT! AIKO YOU'RE A GENIUS!"

AIKO: "Huh?!"

HANA: "Think about it! The best singers in all of Jinguu coming together to form a project! A SCHOOL IDOL PROJECT!"

AIKO: "But it would take a miracle for-"

HANA: "And we'll make it happen! We'll be the miracle this school needs! We can even call ourselves KiSeKi!"

AIKO: "Uh..."

HANA: "Please! As the mastermind behind this project, I want you on board!"

AIKO: "I...I'll think about it."

Geez, me and my big mouth.

Who knows what I've unleashed upon the world?
