When I went back to the office my table wasn't there anymore, it was now outside his office.
I sat quietly in my table, banging my head slightly in it. I heard someone chuckled.
"What are you doing Avi?" It was Nathan, he was laughing.
I stood up quickly, feeling embarrassed.
"Hi Sir Nathan.. Do you need anything po? " I asked.
"Oh, I just want to ask you.... Are you free tonight? Pupunta sana kami jan lang sa malapit na bar. Baka lang gusto mong sumama... " He offered slyly.
I hesistated. Hindi pa kasi ako nakakapasok sa ganoong lugar. Tsaka alam ko naman ang mga nandoon, mga lasing, mga gumagawa ng kababalaghan, maingay, I don't really like that kind of environment, but I didn't want to turn down Sir Nathan. He is so nice to me. If there is one thing about me that I hate a lot, its that I can't say NO to others.
"A-ah, I'll think about it po..." I answered back.
"Oh okay great! If sasama ka sabay na tayo ah!" He said excitedly.
I just smiled at him and he bid his goodbye. I sighed heavily. Nahihiya akong tanggihan siya lalo na siya lang ang masasabing kakilala ko dito.
Wala pa akong nakakausap na iba dito maliban sakanya, gusto ko rin naman magkaroon ng mga ibang kaibigan dito sana.
Wala naman sigurong masama kung sumama ako diba? Hindi naman ako iinom, makikipag kaibigan lang ako sa mga tao dito, para naman may kasabay na ako kapag kakain ako sa cafeteria at para may makausap na din ako maliban sa Boss ko at kay Sir Nathan.
I decided to go. I was now fixing my things, getting ready to go down when the door of his office opened.
He went outside, walking pass me. I bowed my head slightly. He just ignored me. Nakaramdam na naman ako ng kirot.
Siguro kaya din gusto kong sumama sakanila, hindi ko kasi alam paano siya haharapin sa bahay, ayoko din siyang makita at gusto kong magsaya naman kahit ngayon lang.
After a while, I now went down the HR department to find Nathan. I saw him at his cubicle. I approached him.
"Hi! Sasama sana ako Sir... Okay lang po ba? " I asked.
He quietly gasped. "Oh ikaw pala Avi. Sure, sabay na tayo. Nandoon na ang iba nating officemates, aayusin ko lang gamit ko saglit, is that okay? "He replied.
I nodded my head and steps back for him to fix his things. After a while he was now done and we are now heading out.
Hindi ko alam if sasabihin ko ba kay Sir Darius na malalate ako ng uwi or hindi, baka kasi wala siyang kainin, pero may left overs pa naman from last night sa ref, pwede niya naman siguro yun initin or magordee nalang sa labas.
We went into the parking lot, may sasakyan pala si Sir Nathan? It's a black Honda.
"Nice car Sir..." I commented.
He chuckled. "Ano ka ba Avi, you can stop calling me Sir pag wala na tayo sa office. We're friend right? " Nathan said.
I nodded.
We went inside his car and he now drove off. We were silent inside. Grabe din sila noh, Wednesday ngayon pero nakakaya nilang magparty kahit may pasok bukas!
Tama nga si Nathan. Malapit lang yung bar na tinutukoy niya. Almost 5 minutes lang kami bumyahe.
I went out of his car and scanned the place. Kitang kita ko yung iba't ibang ilaw na abot hanggang labas. Naririnig ko rin ang lakas ng tugtog galing labas.
Kumislot ang aking labi at parang gusto ko nalang umatras. Hindi ko talaga gusto ang mga ganitong lugar.
We entered the place and I was right, ang ingay at gulo gulo sa loob! We struggled getting inside kasi ang daming nakaharang na mga tao. Buti nalang hinaharang ako ni Nathan sa mga tao.
We went into a table, marami akong nakikitang pamilyar na muka na sa tingin ko ay nakikita ko paminsan-minsan sa opisina.
"Nathan!" a girl said enthusiasticlly.
I can see 3 girls and 3 boys in the table.
Nathan let me sat beside him. Our table is round, I was beside Nathan on the left and a girl in the girl who I think I always see on the HR department.
She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.
"Aviana right? The CEO's secretary?" She told me near my ear, ang ingay kasi rito.
I nodded at her. "Oo ako nga, ikaw? Lagi kitang nakikita sa HR.. " I told her.
"Ah oo HR asssistant ako! " She answered back.
Everyone was going wild. Sumasakit na ang aking tenga sa pinaghalong lakas ng tugtog at sigawan ng mga tao.
Inikot ikot ko ang aking mata sa paligid. Punong puno ang dancefloor ng mga tao. Siksik-siksikan na sila sa dami. Nakakita rin ako ng mga naghahalikan sa table. I looked away immediately. My cheek burned.
"Nathan sino 'yang dala mong chicks? Pakilala mo naman kami! " A guy said.
"Umayos nga kayo! Si Aviana to, Secretary ni Mr. Collin." Nathan then looked at me.
"Avi this is Gelo, Kurt, Matthew, Rie, Shay, and Kyla." Nathan introduced me.
Gelo was the one who shouted while Kyla is the one beside me.
"Oh so you're the secretary pala! " I think that was Shay.
I nodded my head. They were really so fun to be with. Ang dami nilang pinaguusapan and nakakarelate ako!
I also learned na mag-jowa si Shay and Kyla with is so cute!
Everything was going smooth until the beer came. Everyone went wild..
Isa isa nikang binuksan ang case ng alak at nilagok agad ito ng mga lalaki! My mouth opened.
Nathan chuckled beside me.
"Sorry Avi ganyan lang talaga iyang mga yan. Hagok sa alak." We laughed at that.
The girls poured some of the beer in there glasses. I just kept eating the crispy pata in the plate.
"Avi? Hindi ka iinom?" Kurt asked.
I finished the crispy pata on my mouth then answered.
"A-ah never pa ako nakainom. " I told them.
Nathan looked at me shocked. I smiled at him hesitantly.
"Oh! I guess it's your lucky day Aviana! Today kana mabibinyagan! " Gelo laughed.
Nathan smiled at me.
"It's okay Aviana. You don't have to drink if you don't want to." He told me.
I smiled at him and poured my glass. Everyone screamed. I covered my ears, ang lakas!
"Go Aviana! Kaya mo yan! " Mathew screamed.
Nilagok ko agad ang aking baso. Napakislot ako sa pait ng lasa! Ang pangit pala ng lasa neto! Akala ko masarap? Bakit ang daming adik na adik sa alak? Ang pait!
Everyone cheered once again. Nathan looked at me worried.
"Hey, you don't have to drink if you don't want to." He said.
"It's okay. I want to Nathan. Minsan lang naman to." I said.
Totoo iyon. Gusto ko din talaga uminom at magpakalasing, gusto ko maranasan magparty kahit ngayong gabi lamang, gusto kong kalimutan ang nangyari sa amin ni Sir Darius at ang sakit na nararamdaman ko dahil sakaniya.
Everyone went wild after that, tuloy tuloy lang din ang pag-inom ko, Kyla and Shay kept entertaining me, Rie was just quiet, we talked about random stuff. They were very bubbly people. Kinuwento rin niya sa akin paano sila nagkakilala ni Shay.
All the boys including Rie stood up and went to the dancefloor. Nathan stayed with me.
Kyla and Shay stood up as well.
"Let's go and party na Aviana! Don't worry we gotchu! " Shay said excitedly.
I was a bit tipsy already so I nodded. Nathan looked at me worriedly but stood up too.
We all left our table and went to the dancefloor.
I was having the time of my life! Ganto pala dito! Masaya naman pala dito. I felt free! I never felt so free in years now! I raised my hands and started dancing freely. Hindi ko na alam na saan sila Nathan but I didn't really cared that much! I kept swaying my hips and dancing until I felt a hand on my waist.
Dala ng kalasingan, I kept dancing and swaying my hips on to the man. I don't know what I was doing I was just enjoying the night. I felt the hand in my waist disappear and I just kept dancing.
After a while I felt a hand again in my waist, but this time I frozed. My heart beated wildly. The touch feels so familiar.
I turned around and I saw the burning eyes of Sir Darius looking at me. His grip on my waist tighted.
"You are in so much trouble baby.... "
