Down the Rabbit Hole
We walked down the forested path, gripping onto each other's hand. There was a silence around us, aside from the sounds of our shoes making contact with the dirt. Other than that it was a comfortable silence. One I had no intention of disturbing. Truly these moments are probably the closest to joy I can get. These moments are ones I'll keep forever. Taking them away would be cruel. Even for god.
We stopped at a clearing, with a single tree in the center. The trees around seem to be keeping a distance from the large oak. It was certainly big for a tree. It's would was a deeper brown than the others, yet it's leaves were a bright, vibrant green. The grass around the tree mimicked the leaves beautiful color.
This area felt so...different. Not bad different. Not a good different either. More like a worrisome, yet interesting different.
I glanced at Kita, and for a moment I saw a flash of uncertainty, and worry on his face. Like he was contemplating going closer to the tree. But it didn't take long before determination practically slapped itself onto his face.
Odd boy...my odd brother...
We walked to the tree, and began to set up under the shade. Kita set the basket down beside him, and took out the blanket from inside. Unfolding it, he raised it to the air before carefully setting it back onto the ground. He moved the basket to the center of the sheet and we both got comfortable.I laid back and stared up at the clouds, hiding behind the branches and leaves. Watching as they made their slow path across the sky. Kita sat next to me and took the chance to eat the fruit he so eagerly was waiting for. Ari,who was waiting just as impatiently, got a bowl full of various fruits inside. Their expressions were quite obviously pleased.
God they're twins...with different bodies.
I sighed gently sinking into the scenery. The breeze as it shook the branches gently. The variously shaped clouds, traveling to their own destination. And the sound of my brother...humming a tune I could never forget.
How calming...
My eyes shut as I drifted off to sleep. This is probably...the calmest I've been in awhile...

I slowly opened my eyes, squinting up at the streaks of light that shined down at me, and the large shadow that blocked my sight of the sky. though my vision was blurry I was sure I could make out a face staring blankly at mines. Deep brown locks floating just above my face as he blinked down at me. He seemed to be deeply focused on me sleeping.
Wait a minute...
Kita's hair isn't brown...
After a bit of time, and realization that this person wasn't my brother, I did the most reasonable thing I could think of...
"AHHHHHH!!!!!!!"
"AHHHHHHHH!!!!! OH MY GOD YOU'RE ALIVE?!?!?"
I quickly jerked my head up, head butting the male. As he fell back I quickly crawled away from him, panting deeply.
The male before me did the same. His back bumped against the tree as he looked like he would faint at any second. His hands covered the part of his head I hit. Red staring to taint both of our foreheads as we stared at each other in shock.
I took deep breathes to try and calm my heart. Feeling the shaking in body slowly start to cease, I softened my look at him. After I calmed myself, I took a look at the male before me.
Long brown locks tied up into a messy bun. Little strands hanging out in the front. Looks like he put it up in a rush. A mini top hat sat tilting on the right side of his head, a mini clock pinned to it.Brown eyes, though they were full of fear, they were still pretty...he looked a lot older than me..he was wearing a black suit with quite the tail on it. Looks expensive. White gloves, and a white button down to pair. He wore black dress shoes along with them. Each and every button was a pretty silver color to boot. And the most interesting part..his ears. They are quite cute. I wonder where he got-
Twitch.
"They moved?!?"
"Why are you screaming again?!?"
I glared at him before crossing my arms. He flinched at the change of my attitude, and leaned further up against the tree, watching me cautiously.
"Well maybe because some stranger is interrupting me and my bro-"
I paused and took a look around the area.
Tree...Tree...Tree...TREE!
Fear growing evident on my face as I quickly scrambled to my feet. I looked around hastily, and with each second my breathing began to get faster, before I knew whimpers escaped my mouth as I cried out.
"Kita!!"
The male who sat propped up on a tree looked at me in confusion, curious of why I was screaming out, but I paid no attention to him right now. I continued to scream out for my brother, hoping he would call back for me. My legs felt weak, my head was racing with thoughts. My breathing once again picked up, soon I was hyperventilating.

You can't...YOU CAN'T TAKE HIM TOO!!
My eyes snapped back to the male as he flinched under my gaze. Tears streamed down my face as I stormed closer to the male. His face grew pale as he held his hands out, almost like he was shielding himself. His voice was weak, and shaking. He shook his head, rushing out to plead for me to stay back.
"W-Wait hold on d-don't do anything rash! Please-!"
A bell rang as we both froze. I looked around in confusion while the male who sat before practically turned as white as a ghost. He looked a little sick, well...really sick. He pulled out he pocket watch and groaned out in frustration before standing up, brushing himself off. Then I saw it.
Twitch.
Bunny tail...
He was mumbling to himself looking around the area himself. After scanning the area, he placed his hands on his hips and leaned side to side, then back and forth. He stretched his hands up, then reached down to his toes. I was honestly unsure of what he was doing, but that didn't matter right now. There's only one thing I wanted from this man.
"Where's my brother..."
"What?!"
He looked at me but continued to stretch. His brows furrowed together as he tilted his head slightly.My hands clenched into fist as my voice raised voice at the man, growing annoyed with this situation.
"I said where's my brother?! He has white hair with black tips a-and...and he...he was right here..."
Tears started to stream down my face once again as I glared into the ground. I looked up to find him walking towards me quickly. He stopped in front of me bowed to me. I leaned away, my confusion growing with each second. Especially with the card he held out to me. I took it slowly and watched as he immediately stood up straight. He looked at me apologetically.
"I'm terribly sorry, but I really don't have the time. You see it's very la- AHHHH!!!!"
This dude has a few screws loose.
He was staring at his pocket watch, and once again screamed out. An anxious look crossed his face as he began to run around the tree in circles, panic written all over his face.
"WAAAH!! I'm gonna be late!! Nooooo!!!"
He came to a skidding stop before pulling out a ring of keys from his pocket. They weren't normal keys, each were a different color and shape with a symbol on each one. He was trembling a great deal and ended up dropping the keys. I watched in pity as he quickly picked them up, just to drop them again.
You poor soul...try calming down first...
Says you~ Weren't you in hysterics just a moment ago~?
I shivered, feeling a very odd feeling once again, just like before. Maybe it's because this guy is here. He eventually got (some?) kind of a grip on himself and jammed one of the keys into the tree.
....
Okay. Nevermind I take it back, he's got lots of screws loose.
Strips of light strayed from where he entered the key, soon the tree glowed with a white hue, a brass knob coming into view. Where from? I don't know. He twisted the knob and pulled open a door. A dark abyss laid inside.
Oh hell no....
He grabbed my hand, sending me a small smile. He tugged be gently toward the door. His smile grew as he stared at my lost face.
"Let's get going! We have no time to waste! No Time no time!"
My eyes looked at him. Then the door. My hand. Then back to him.
Him. Door. Hand. Him. Door. Hand.
My eyes widened when he stepped through the door pulling me along with him. I wanted to pull away, but the abyss sucked us in.
"W-Wait where-?!"
As we jumped into the door, he seemed to drift away from me. The warmth of his gloved hand left mine, but the sound of his voice was clear...At least barely enough for me to hear.
"Wonderland!"

How long have I been falling...this is taking forever....
Kita....where'd you go...I'm scared...
I think? I'be been falling so long I don't really know whether I should still be scared...
This chilling feeling in my bones making me practically stiff. I think it's fear...
I growled gently before tossing my hands out, my hair was floating upwards, the sound of my skirt ruffling from the pressure of wind. I screamed out as I continued to fall.
"Oh my GOD! Where's the freaking- GROUND!!!!"
Vegetation came into view as a grew dangerously close the ground. Flowers, bushes, trees...and a solid ground of grass.
Why me...
I screamed out and braced for impact. My eyes slammed shut.
I'm sorry big brother....

I slowly opened my eyes to find myself face to face with the ground.
I must be high...
"Are you alright...?"
