Baffling Bubbles
The town was a buzz
And all a flurry,
3Gun wondered what
Was everyone's hurry.
Satchel had said they
Upgraded his room
A present for him
From Rue.
"That's nice."
Satchel tossed him the key
"I'll have to remember
To thank Ruechari."
He opened the door
He stepped inside
Eager to relax
After such a long ride.
The very last thing he
Expected to see
Was a soaking wet,
Snoring, CG.
She had dozed off in the tub.
"Well, if this ain't the rub."
Bubbles were the only thing
Between CG and decency.
And was that lilac in the water
did he smell?
He wondered should he wake her
or sit and stare a spell.
Playing with the bands still in his hand
He knew there were some things
he would never understand.
He took off his shirt to tend to his wound.
The graze festered a bit

He cleaned it up in a basin by the door.
Then he didn't hear snoring anymore
Instead, there was a gasp, a gurgle, and a splash.
3Gun was by CG's side in a dash.

"Drown yourself?
