the homeroom teacher yells out clapping her hands urging the students to be faster

"NO NO i actually don't.. and if you don't want to be my partner then why ask mhm?"
"FOR.. hw yeah yeah so when are you asking me to be your partner? "
"alright i'll be nice and ask you. jet black wings , will you be my partner?"
kaidou actually gets surprised at y/n's words and starts to get nervous not knowing what to say
"u-uh i- ye-yeah of course yes i mean sure if you'd like idk doesn't really matt-"
"okay okay i understand kai cmon let's get started on this art project thing "
kaidous pov :
heh.. this is kinda fun seeing her be so invested in something while im just scribbling whatever's on the top of my mind so i look busy
y/n suddenly turns and says
"kai give me your hand real quick"
"huh wait why"
she grabs my hand and starts drawing a tiny heart on my thumb
slowly grazing her hand against mine feels like time stopped just for a second.her hair was tucked behind her ears so i could see her face except for that one strand of hair that i always had the urge to tuck.
her eyes look up for 3 exact seconds and a small smile grows on her lips
"pretty.."i mutter under my breath hoping she didn't hear it
"you said something?"
"NO NO i was just saying.. uhm cute heart..?"
"you're such an weirdo" she says smacking my head lightly with the pen she used to doodle on my hand
after school ~
i throw my backpack on the floor and reach for my wired headphones opening a spotify playlist titled "her"
i smile and giggle as the songs play suddenly stopping at the mirror looking at myself
"dude.. you're in deep... " staring at myself head to toe
"nah its okay though"
looking back at the heart doodle y/n drew on my hand for a few minutes resisting the urge to kiss it for some reason ???
