"Kazutora! What the fuck were you trying to do?!" Chifuyu yells at the confused male as he keeps staring at Maria. He was sure the poison would kill her.
Maria was wearing a black long sleeve shirt with loose drills and some shorts as she stood on the cars.
She stops smiling at the Haitani brothers as she turns to look at Baji.
"Maria. I'll speak to you later." Baji said as he gives two strikes to Chifuyu and Takemichi's faces. His larger form loomed over Takemichi's as the shorter boy gave way to him.
"Take care of Mikey for me." Baji said as he walked forwards.
"Baji, why are you in such a hurry?" Chifuyu asked as the elder boy ignores him and Maria signed in relief. Kazutora did not stab Baji. She walks to beside her boyfriend as she holds his hand in hers.
"My throat is dying so I can't speak much." She whispered as she kisses his cheek. Baji smiles at her as she ties his hair up when he recognized the look in her eyes.
It was to tell him to stay safe. He squeezed her hand gently as he faces the guys before him.
"Now then. 50 guys from the third division versus me! Let's see what you've got!" Baji said with a smile filled with bloodlust as he was filled with anticipation to fight.
"Let's go fuckers!!" Baji yells as Maria stands behind him. She smiles as Baji takes down multiple guys with ease.
"Kazu why did you do it?" Maria whispers to the male who was kneeling down as his eyes were blank.
"idn't I forgive you....in juvie?.... did Kisaki tempt you into this?" She whispers to him as she couldn't speak well. The poison had hurt her throat badly.
She had only drank a bit of water that day and was glad she realized the smell of the water in the bottle was off.
She had immediately felt the effects of the poison as blood dripped out of her mouth.
Lulu had called for a ambulance as she was treated in the hospital but her throat requires time to heal.
Which was why she was gone for so long.
Fuyuka had paid for the doctors to declare she was dead and to not let Maria's family and friends know. Then she hid Maria in her mansion till Maria escaped.
Kazutora looks at her with a blank look as he doesn't speak.
One of the people Baji was fighting was thrown down as the guy's huge body slammed into Maria's smaller and thin body.
"Maria!" Chifuyu and Takemichi called out as she fell down the cars. Kazutora was a bit spooked as he sees her fall.
As she braced for impact, someone caught her at the last second, she opened her eyes to see a pair of violet eyes staring back worriedly at her.
It was Ran, he had ran all the way from his spot and caught her. Rindo had just reached them as she breathed lightly in shock.( No pun intended here (: lol)
"Are you... alright?" He asked her as Rindo looks at her from beside him.
"ine." She whispered. She made a sign with her hands to say that her throat was in pain so she couldn't speak. Ran places her down on the floor just as she coughs out blood and fell to her knees.
Rindo tries to check on her as Ran looks at Kazutora.
That guy said he poisoned her..., didn't he? He viewed Maria as a younger sister and had wanted her to call him and Rindo her elder brothers.
But she never did, that idiot nearly killed Maria before she could even call them her brothers.
He felt angry just as Rindo held onto his shirt. "This isn't our fight." His younger brother reminds him as he signs heavily.
"What the fuck happened?" Baji said as he jumps down from the cars. He had chosen not to kill Kisaki and had spared his life instead after seeing Maria on the ground coughing blood.
Maria had really made him go soft.
"Perhaps ask your Kazutora friend there." Rindo said as he left Maria and Baji holds her in his arms instead.
"Chifuyu call the ambulance." Baji said desperate, her breaths were becoming more shallow every second.
"On it." His vice captain replies as Takemichi's hands were sweaty. He was sure Maria would make it if she was still alive in the future.
Did he change the past too much?
"I see now!" Kisaki said out loud for Mikey to hear as Takemichi turns to look at him.
That manipulative piece of shit.
"He tried killing Maria first so Baji would have no more reason to stay in Toman. And then lured him into Valhalla to kill him when he least expected it." Kisaki said as Mikey stood up.
"Isn't that right? Leader?" He said as Mikey's eyes were blank and lack of emotions.
Kazutora was still mumbling to himself as Mikey got off the cars.
"I wanted to kill you for so long... as soon as I got out of juvie, I was going to kill you." Mikey said.
"Maria and Baji both convinced me to not kill you. Baji said: "Kazutora just wanted to make you happy, Mikey. That's why he can't accept it. Even though he killed your brother. To make himself believe he wasn't the bad guy, Kazutora had no choice but to believe you were his enemy." Mikey said as he licked the blood dripping down his face.
"Mikey." Draken warns him as he was concerned for him and Kazutora.
"Don't do it." Baji said as Mikey announced the fight was over.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! The fight's over?! You trying to fuck with me, Mikey?" Hanma says as Mikey's shorter form walks closer to him.
Just run. Baji prays for Hanma as the guy said it wasn't for him to decide it was over.
Mikey roundhouse kicks his head into the ground, instantly knocking him out as all the Valhalla members were in shock that their strongest fighter was taken down in a hit.
Mikey isn't holding back now. He had been holding himself back for the sake of his twin.
Mikey turns as he looks at the Valhalla members.
"RUN! HE'S GONNA KILL US!!" All of the members of Valhalla ran as one of them lifted Hanma up and made their escape.
Only Kazutora remained there as he stood up from his kneeling position on the ground.
"People can betray anyone... Let's end this Mikey. Will you die? Or will I?" Kazutora asks Mikey as he received a punch to his face and he flew to the ground.
"Chifuyu hold Maria." Baji said as he ran to stop Mikey from killing Kazutora.
