"Ace I'm getting my nails done on Saturday so I won't be able to come down here," Elle said
"You need money?" I asked even though she didn't ask me for the money I always offered.
"No babe I've got it." She declined

"Your women?" She asked with a laugh

"I could put you on one of his friends his name is Leon." She said getting up to get more ice

"Yeah you only have to hold some stuff and he might wanna fuck but I don't know." She said sitting back down beside me
"Is he fine?" I asked with a laugh

"Cool," I said getting up and stretching a little

"Jade!" My Grandmother barked from inside making me groan before getting up to go see what she wanted
"Get down here now!"
"Okay, mama why are you yelling?" I asked pulling on my shirt as I jogged downstairs
"What is this?" She asked holding up a black box making me curse under my breath
"Mama I don't know what that is." I lied
"Does your father know about this?" She asked her eyes watering.
My grandma was a strong woman ten years ago she lost my grandfather to the streets ever since then she's been different but who wouldn't
"No." I lied
"Jade tell me the dam truth!" She screamed her voice trembling
"I swear mama he didn't know."
"After everything we've done, I tried my hardest to make sure you didn't end up like your grandfather or father. Why?" She cried making my heart hurt

"Get away from me!" She screamed when I tried to walk closer to her

"Get out of my house!"

"Get the hell out of my house! Do you want to be a thug? Huh, you wanna go prison or die for the streets well you won't be doing that under my roof!" She cried I felt wetness on my face making me touch my cheek and I felt tears falling from my eyes

"I'm not playing." She said handing me the box
"Go chase the streets somewhere else."
"Cool," I said nodding walking upstairs and grabbing my backpack before pushing some clothes in there then lifted my bed and grabbed the two other black boxes that were filled with drugs and cash before walking to Nella's room Only to see it was empty I didn't have time for this so I just made my way back downstairs seeing my grandmother standing there.
"I love you, mama," I said with a sad smile but she just shook her head I sighed before leaving the house fully calling a cab.
"Where to Sir?"
"A few blocks down there near Harris gas station," I said leaning back into the seat
I felt my phone vibrating I looked down and saw that Zeke was calling
"Yeah?" I asked clearing my throat
"You good?"
"Yeah, why are you calling?" I said getting straight to the point I was in no mood for small talk
"Devin is having a party later you coming?"
"Yeah," I said I could use a distraction
"Bitches gone be there?" I asked
"Yeah, I heard Shaniyah's badass was coming."
"Shit then this might be fun," I said with a laugh
"Cool brudda I'll call you later," I said when I saw the cab pulling up in front of my dad's crowded porch
"What you doing here? And why you got all those dam bags?" He asked being dramatic I had two bags
"Mama kicked me out." That was all I said before walking up the stairs to go inside the house
"Yeah, girl Leon said you're fine." Laya's fine ass said to shaniyah from one of the guest rooms
"Tell him I'm on whatever." She laughed making me cringe I lost all respect for Shawty she was barely fourteen and I just knew she was fucking
"Thought you weren't coming back here?" I said pushing open the door
"I'm chilling." That was all she said and I knew she was only here because her pops were outta town right now
"You coming to devins party?" Laya asked
"Yeah, you?" I asked already knowing she'd never miss a party
"Yeah, I and Niyiah will be there." She said with a blush making me laugh
"This should be interesting," Shaniyah mumbled annoyed by my presence but I could care less to be honest
"Well, girls I'll see y'all fine asses there," I said with a wink before I left the room
