george watched as the lava fell from the ceiling, the image of his friend falling between his own eyes. guilt formed in george's body, he should've been there to save dream.
or did dream need saving?
when sam let the boy over to the cell, dream was the first to talk, "i'm gonna find a way out, i promise. i'll kill tommy and tubbo and then it can be and you again!" he smiled at his friend
george cringed, he knew dream was meant to stay here. he knew dream had fucked up, but that didn't stop the ache in his heart knowing dream was all alone all day in the prison.
"you can't dream, it's for the best."
dreams smile faded, "huh? i thought.. george.."
"you've become a terrible person, dream, your not the person i used to know," dream was about to speak before george kept going, "i used to love the old you, i remember making the community house with the old you! i loved you! now all you care about are those stupid discs and tommy!"
"george i care about you.."
"no you don't! you care about giving me power to corrupt me! you made me king so you could manipulate me also!"
dream stepped towards his friend, "i made you king so i could spoil you, i thought it was obvious how much i love you."
george only crossed his arms and stared at dream, "i loved you too," dream stared at him, "i don't anymore."
sam called george back.
dream watched as the brunette stepped back on the platform, dream leaning on the blocks he couldn't jump over.
before george could leave he turned back at the blonde
"i guess it was never meant to be, dream."
