Lady Mary Craven was overjoyed that she was expecting their first child in June of 1921.
They would celebrate their first wedding anniversary in June and what could be a better wedding present than the gift of their first child due in June of 1921 and Lady Mary would be 21 years old and Lord Colin would turn 21 in October of 1921.
Summer at Misselthwaite Manor was beautiful and the flowers would be blooming.
Their garden would be in full bloom.

Lady Mary could hardly wait to tell Lord Colin the joyful news that their first child was on his or her way.
" My dear Colin. I have some wonderful news for you. We are expecting our first child in June of 1921." Lady Mary exclaims.
" We are young Lady Mary. I think we can space our children out.'" Lord Colin explains " I don't want to lose you as I lost my late mother giving birth to me. "
" I don't know about my Aunt Lady Lily Lord Colin but I am sure she didn't mean to die after she brought you into the world." Lady Mary exclaims.
" You are here to carry on the Craven name and it will continue through our son." Lady Mary states.
" I have chosen the name Lord Matthew Colin Craven for our son." Lady Mary exclaims.
" We can wait until 1926 to try again for second child. We don't want our child to be an only child." Lady Mary exclaims " I always wanted a sister or brother but my own late mother was a silly, shallow and vain woman." Lady Mary admits.
This is the first time Lord Colin ever heard Lady Mary talk about her mother.
Lady Mary only had vague memories of her late mother and had few memories of her late father Colonel Albert Lennox.

" I didn't know my Uncle Albert Lady Mary but father admired him but he had no opinion of Lady Rose but from what he had heard.'" Lord Colin admits.
"I wasn't considered pretty enough for my mother and she hide me away" Lady Mary tells Lord Colin.
" I think we both have grown quite handsome and beautiful since we were children." Lord Andrew tells her.
" I think it's better not to be to proud and vain." Lady Mary admits.
" I agree with you Mary." Colin admits.

Lady Mary chose neutral colors the nursery would be used for their second child in 1926.
Lady Mary would redecorate the nursery in the appropriate colors as Lady Mary was sure their first born would be their son.
Lady Mary would not be disappointed with the birth of their first born child when the child was born.
She just knew that she would not repeat the same mistakes that her own parents did.
Lord Colin and Lady Mary await the birth of their first born child with joy.
