We don't hear what our hearts cry

you said a goodbye in splintered lullaby's

caught on to the heated lies that cry

reach for a naive me with hands and heart

shall you only see then that this shouldn't part

thoughts are scary to be when you've done nothing

but my minds laughing at how much you do fill it

love isn't love when it's a sickness you can't see

but when its torture you can feel

ripping a heart in two, with the sweetest bruises as it's glue

you wouldn't be only able to feel but to breathe it

love is what i want with only you

a vacation from sorrow i don't know how to do

alone always alone with this cheap thought of fear

that once again you shall disappear

telling me anger with such soft touches

engaging a me that wasn't supposed to be

kisses feel within a heart within a me

your you but i want you to be in me
