When you both made it to the top of the stairwell, you were shivering in your wet clothes. You figured you had something in your bag to change into whilst they dried. That was when you realised you no longer had it. The bag. You couldn't find. You don't even remember when you had it last.

You started to panic as you tugged on your scalp, pacing the room.

"What?" Bakugou said, confused by your sudden change of behaviour.

"My bag. I don't know where it is."

"Well, where did you put it last?'

"I don't know, how did I not notice?" you asked rhetorically.

"It's just a bag."

"It's not just a bag. That had my stuff in it." you said, "That had my crown in it, fuck." you whispered the last part.

"Woah, the princess swears." he chuckled.

"Now's not the time for jokes. What if someone-"

"Hey hey, don't worry so much, if they find it they will probably just return it to the King." he said, not fully believing that but just thought it was the best thing to say to calm you down.

You nodded, inhaling deeply, "yeah, okay."

Your damp clothes were even more uncomfortable now, even as you adjusted them they still stuck to your skin.

"You can take those off."

You gave him a glare in reply to his snarky comment.

"I'm serious, do you have anything under that?" he said as he began to take off his shirt, luckily you both left your shoes in the room.

You forgot to answer his question, as shirtless Bakugou stood in front of you. He smirked, noticing your wandering eyes. You felt nervous as a butterflies began to circle your stomach.

"Stop staring, idiot."

You nodded, facing away trying to hide your blush.

"I asked you a question." he added.

"Oh! Um! Yes." you said flustered as you began to fiddle with the tie on the back of your dress. You became frustrated as you struggled to undo it.

"Let me help." his voice was low and soft as he stood behind you. You nodded and put your head down as he moved your hair to the side to have access to your back.

He looked at the bow for a little while as his fingers moved up to your back. As he slowly undid the corset, the dress began to slide off your body, you wore a short white shoulder-less dress underneath that had smocked fabric around the torso. His eyes moved up to your bare shoulders, lightly he glided the back of his finger along your exposed back, feeling the softness off your skin.

As you slowly turned around to face him, your eyes connected. You both felt slightly embarrassed, to be exposed in front of one another, not only that but the feelings that were developing made both of you flustered in this situation.

"Thanks." you whispered.

"No problem." he cleared his throat, quickly looking away and hanging your clothes over the cabinet to dry. You chuckled at his awkward behaviour, which he caught in the corner of his eye.

He mumbled something under his breath which was inaudible to you.

When you were finally finished waiting for your clothes to dry it was dark.

"I'm starving." you said as he tied your corset.

"I could do with some food as well. Put your shoes on." he said, which you did.

As you both walked to the city, he took you to a desolate area, it was cute in a way. Not too many people but the place wasn't intimidating. As you walked further a small candlelit restaurant came into view, it had ivy growing up either side of the doorway.

"How did you find this place?" you asked him.

"Someone I knew used to own it. When they...died, a friend took over." he said with a slight sadness echoing his voice. You noticed and interlocked your arm around his.

"It looks lovely." you hummed, smiling up at him.

He shook away those sad feelings and walked into the restaurant with you still around his arm.

"Bakugou!" the owner said, it was an old frail man with a white apron tied around him, he had some sort of accent that you couldn't recognise.

"Hey Toshinori." he replied.

"Who's the pretty lady." he nudged Bakugou.

"That's Y/n. A friend of mine."

You smiled at the man which he returned.

"Well, I can't keep my favourite customers waiting. Follow me." he said leading you over to a small table. The wall next to it had flowers growing upon it, but it didn't look messy. Above you was a small hanging lantern. You didn't strike Bakugou as a romantic but he had really shown himself as one tonight.

Toshinori pulled out your chair for you, inviting you to sit down. Bakugou pulled out his own chair trying to look as casual as possible, but really he was nervous. It felt like a proper date, something that neither of you have ever been on. As Toshinori left, you both sat there clearing your throats awkwardly.

"So this is like...a date?" you asked.

"A date?"

"Yes, where two people-"

"I know what a date is idiot." he smirked, "I guess it is."

You exhaled through your nose, smiling gently. But as you went to say something Toshinori came out holding two spaghetti plates.

"Our special." he said and retreated back to the kitchen.

As you both ate in silence you could tell something was on Katsuki's mind.

"Is everything okay?" you asked.

"Hm?" he said swallowing his food.

"You look sad." you said, fiddling with your food.

"This place just brings back memories." he said, hesitant to continue.

"Bad memories?"

"Not exactly. It's just..." he said looking down but when he looked up to see your smile it encouraged him to carry on, "My mum owned this restaurant before she was killed."

"Katsuki, I'm so sorry." you said, putting your hand on his, you didn't say anything more as you didn't want to intrude.

"It's okay, she's in a better place." he said, half smiling.

It was weird to think how different your life was to his, it seemed as if you've never come across any problems your whole life. Whereas, he had to grow up alone, always being the only one to take care of himself.
