Alot of students left for Christmas. Even Draco. In the past couple of days, you never felt so alone. You missed Fred and George. You know that they would have been there with you.
You sat alone in the courtyard, the snow falling on you. It was cold, but you didn't care.
Why did you even need to take care of yourself anymore?
Someone tapped your shoulder. You looked behind you and seen Harry. He sat next to you and Ron sat on the other side.
"We um..heard what happened." Harry said.
You looked down at the snow.
"Listen, (y/n), you're welcome to spend Christmas with us. We're going to my house." Ron said.
You looked at him. "Really?"
Ron smiled and nodded.
You gave a small smile.
Harry put his arm around your shoulder. "Is that a yes?"
He poked you. "Yes yes?"
You laughed. "Yes."
"Great! I'll write a letter to mum letting her know that we'll have company!" Ron said excitedly.
The Weasley's home was pretty amazing. The Christmas feel was everywhere. Everyone was so happy and welcoming that you felt accepted.
"Would you like to eat some dinner, dear?" Mrs. Weasley said.
Fred and George squished you between them.
"Oh boys! Leave her alone!" Mrs. Weasley yelled.
"She loves us!" They answered in unison, making you laugh. You missed them so much.
"Yes, Mrs. Weasley, dinner sounds great." You said.
She smiled and nodded.
"Okay everyone! Sit down it's dinner time!"
Everyone sat down and Mr. Weasley said grace. Ron couldn't sit still. He wanted to eat.
Finally, you all dug in.
The food was probably the best you ever had.
When dinner was over, it was time to open the presents. You didn't think you'd have any.
Then Harry gave you a gift. "From me, Ron, and Hermione. Hermione's at her home, but she made us promise we wouldn't forget to give it to you. We all chipped in."
You smiled. "You shouldn't have!"
You opened it and gasped. It was a silver pin.
It looked like the Slytherin pin you gave Draco, but much more feminine.
It was in the shape of a circle, a line of diamonds going down the middle and a snake wrapping around it.
You hugged Harry and Ron. "Thank you."
Everyone else opened their gifts, then Fred and George gave you one.
It was a handwritten coupon stating that you can have whatever you want from their shop for free. And it was a lifetime thing.
You laughed and gave them a warm hug.
After that, it was pretty late. You went upstairs to the extra room where Hermione usually slept. Fred and George went with you and you told them everything that happened.
They couldn't imagine why Draco broke up with you.
"How about we make you some tea before bedtime?" Fred said.
"I'll get some Christmas cookies for you!" George exclaimed
They left right away. You layed down and stared at the ceiling.
You wondered what HE was doing right now. You missed him terribly.. but you felt like he didn't miss you at all..
But you were wrong, because at that very moment, Draco was in his room staring out the window wondering the same thing about you.
He was hurting inside. It took all his strength to do what he did. It was driving him insane.
That night, he didn't even go down for dinner.
He has been locked in his room the whole time. Narcissa was beginning to worry that her son was sick.
She checked on him shortly after.
"Who is it?" Draco called when he heard the knock.
"Open up, Draco." Narcissa said.
Draco got up and opened his door.
When Narcissa was inside, Draco was back at his spot by the window.
"What's the matter, son? Is...the matter of your task bothering you?"
Draco shook his head.
Narcissa walked over to him and pat his back. "Draco, speak to me. What is the matter?"
Draco got up and paced his room. "I don't know how to explain it to you, mother."
"Just tell me. Straight forward."
Draco sighed. "I..I was seeing someone.. for about two years... and I left her because I didn't want to put her in danger."
"Does she know why you left her?"
Narcissa sighed. "You put the one you love before yourself. Remember that."
"I can't stand to be apart from her.." Draco wiped a tear away.
"Who is this young girl, may I ask?"
"The (l/n) girl.."
Narcissa stood silent. She didn't care as long as Draco was happy with you. And she wouldn't tell Lucius.
"All I can say to you, Draco, is to do what you think is right."
Back at the Weasley's, you shot right out of bed when you saw a circle of fire around the house.
You heard two pairs of feet run up the stairs.
"(Y/n)!!! (Y/n)!!!" Fred came running in.
"We have to get out!!" George came right after him.
You quickly got up and grabbed your bag. Good thing you didn't unpack. You had your gifts in there as well.
When you three got out, the ring of fire was out.
"Oh thank goodness! Good job, boys." Mrs. Weasley said.
Then a few minutes later, two deatheaters flew by. You only saw the black mist.
And they set the house on fire.
You all stared helplessly at the house. Deatheaters have no mercy.
They are evil.
They deserved to be punished. All of them.
You were afraid of them.
And you hated them..
