Strange dreams haunt her at night. Even stranger is the fact that the man of her dreams just happens to resemble her new neighbor. But she had...

Her feet trudged through the broken wreckage as she moved along the corridors of an ancient castle. The castle was in ruins, its walls fading into a depressing shade of yellow. Torn up curtains still hung from the ceiling and on the occasion where a breeze would come by, they flew up. There was nothing in here as far as eyes could see. No living being existed within these walls. Whatever catastrophe had taken place in this palace had wiped out the entire area.
She slowed to a stop near a half-crumpled balcony, the view from there brought a sense of deja vu.
She didn't like it. She didn't like this feeling one bit. Where was she? How did she get here? She didn't know nor she wanted to.
She wanted to run.
A cold embrace enveloped her from behind and she stilled. She didn't see him but she knew who it was. He eased his head onto her shoulder. "Look what you've done, Andrea."
His words were merely a whisper sending shivers down her spine. It was calm. Eerily so. And deadly silence fell.
"You should have stayed. You promised." He spoke up as his gaze swept over the horizon where the sky was glistening in sad orange hues.
"But you didn't."

Rea's jaw hit the hard wooden desk and she flinched up in surprise as the pain shot through her head. She was in her Sociology lecture. It was obnoxiously boring and it was of no wonder, that she had fallen asleep mid-way. Thank god, she was sitting at the back. No one had noticed her embarrassing moment. Well, except for one.
Kim Namjoon, otherwise known as N.J let out a loud snort from his seat beside her. He was one of the few she had managed to befriend in the University at the start of the year. They had met in accidental circumstances but their relationship had significantly strengthened within a span of 3 months. N.J was a good friend to her. One who's always there for her when she needs him. It was that caring side of him that had brought them together and now, as she sat there rubbing her jaw that had hit the table, N.J giggled like a 5-year-old, his dimples on full display. "It's not funny."
"Oh, it is. You should have seen your face just now. Hahaha..." She pushed her elbow into his side rather forcefully and Namjoon cried in protest, "Ouch!"
"Ahem!" A soft clearing of the throat grabbed her attention and Rea turned around to see, none other than her new neighbor standing there, rather shyly. "Um, can I sit here?"
"Jungkook?" The surprise in her tone was evident as she watched the ebony-haired man smiling down at her. His smile reminded her of a rabbit.
"Hi."
"You know him?" N.J popped up from behind her shoulders, eyeing the new boy curiously as Rea slid back few inches to let him sit there.
"Yeah. He's my neighbor, Jeon Jungkook." She replied and Jungkook took a seat beside her. She turned to him, "Jungkook, this is my friend, Kim Namjoon."
"Ah, Hello," Jungkook greeted him with a bow and N.J swiftly returned the greeting with his dimpled smile.
"So you are in our Uni? and you are also taking Sociology," Rea asked. Jungkook nodded. "Which major?" Namjoon asked, his eyes wide with curiosity.
"Criminal Psychology." He replied, to which Namjoon let out a half-impressed 'Whoa..'
His gaze turned to Rea and she smiled at him. As his grey eyes met hers, she was suddenly reminded of her recent dream.
Look what you've done, Andrea.
...Why?
She didn't know why she was dreaming of him. They were so vague, yet she felt as though she knew something. It was at the tip of her tongue but she can't quite point out what it was. His eyes were so familiar and entrancing and as she looked into those dark ashen pools, they seemed to hide a million things. They seemed to compel her to remember.
To remember what she left behind.
The grey orbs found hers and they stared back too. What was it that she forgot? What was it?
Someone nudged her from the side and she snapped her eyes back to Namjoon's who was eyeing her with a curious smirk. That brought her to reality. What the hell? Was I seriously just staring at him?
Rea quickly turned to Jungkook to apologize for being rude but Jungkook had already gone back to his laptop, his eyes trained on the lecturer, diligently taking notes as if nothing had happened. Awkward and embarrassed, Rea decided to let it be.
But as the day went on and she moved along with her classes, all she could think about was those ashen grey orbs.
Jeon Jungkook.
Who are you?
