Chapter 2 "The Losers"

I walk into my apartment turning on the lights and flopping on the couch. I feel my phone vibrate and I grab it out of my pocket. It's a group chat called "The losers"

Finn added (your number) to "The losers"
Finn: That's y/n guys
???: Oh hey y/n! I thought we would never see you again!
Finn: That number is Jack's btw
Jack: Oh yeah I forgot how texting works
???: This is Sophia
???: Wait I don't mean to be rude or anything but who is y/n?
Jack: Oh she's awesome! She skates and shes funny! We just met her tonight and she came to the diner with us!
???: Hmmm okay well my name is Jeremy
???: This is Wyatt! :)
Y/n: Well hey everyone lol
???: You don't know me but I'm chosen.
Wyatt: The last person is Jaeden but he left his phone at home.
Sophia: Classic Jaeden
Jeremy: I wanna meet y/n. You guys down to come over?
Finn: I'll go. Gotta keep my mind off Tessa

I assumed that Tessa was his girlfriend. He seemed really stressed out about her hair he entire night and then as soon as he put his stupid phone down he was a different person that I could actually talk to.

Jaeden: Sorry this is Jaeden I left my phone at home. I would love to hang out but my mom doesn't like me being out past dark so can I sleep over?
Jeremy: Sure
Sophia: Okay I'm on my way over
Jack: Same
Wyatt: Same
Jaeden: Same
Chosen: Same
Finn: Same. Y/n wait outside your place for me cause you don't know where he lives.
Y/n: Okay thanks.
Jack: Woah Finn is not being a dick anymore
Finn: Shut up Jack

I put down my phone and decide to get changed into something more comfy. I throw on sweatpants and a crop top. I leave the pepper spray on my table. Grab my phone again and leave my apartment. To my surprise Finn is already waiting for me outside.

"That was quick" I say

"Well I wasn't home yet so I just turned around" he says

"Oh you can go home if you want. I'll just have Wyatt come get me or something" I respond

"No." He states sternly

"No? What's wrong?" I ask

"Wyatt has a thing for you. I don't trust him taking you so I'll just take you myself" He says.
I look down on the ground. There he goes again being bossy and rude as soon as I thought he was going to be nice. He seemed to notice. "Fine I'll make a deal with you. I'll still take you but Wyatt can take you home. I can tell you like him better anyways"

"Not everything is about a relationship Finn. Just because Wyatt likes me doesn't mean I like him! I trust him the most out of all of you because he is the nicest to me!" I respond almost yelling. I had already had a bad day with my best friend and I finally thought things were going to be okay but I guess not"

"Sorry, I didn't mean it like that" Finn responds noticing that I'm upset. We start walking and it's pretty quiet until I get a phone call. I look at my phone and it says incoming call from "ride or die" why was she calling me after she ignored me for her boyfriend! I answered it anyways after all she has always been my best friend.

"Hey" she says quietly. I could tell she had been crying.

"Did he do it again?" I asked her. Her boyfriend was very touchy and she wasn't into that stuff but he would never take no for an answer. She didn't respond so I took that as a yes. "I think it's time. You've been through so much just please end it" I was mad at her but I couldn't be mean, she was going through a lot.
