Today was my first time going on a blind date and I was really nervous because I haven't even heard a single detail about the guy. At first, I was thinking 'Why would you go on a blind date with someone you know nothing about? Not even his name.', but my friend told me I should 'get out of my comfort zone', so I let her get me a guy. I asked her a lot of questions about the guy, but she didn't want to tell me anything. I don't know how she convinced me to do it, but she did.
I realize what time it is and I only have half an hour to finish getting ready for the blind date. I rush to my closet and look for an outfit that I knew would make a good impression. I find a black dress that hugs my curves in just the right places and I didn't think much of it at first, so I just put that on. I do my makeup and leave my hair to cascade down my back like a blonde waterfall. I got ready to leave the house and almost forgot to put on my shoes, so I did. I grab my car keys from the kitchen island and head to the driveway. I speed to the restaurant realizing I'm ten minutes late.
When I get to the restaurant I ask if the guy was already there, luckily he was, she guides me to the booth he was at and I take my seat. I take the menu off the table and look for what I'm going to order when I'm interrupted. "You look really beautiful tonight," my date says. "And you look very handsome, my name is Ashly, but you can call me Ash." My date looks at me with a smirk on his face and I look back at him with a gentle smile. "My nickname is Ash, short for Asher," Asher responds. "What are the odds, right?" I continue to look at my menu and figure out what I want.
A few minutes later, we have already ordered and received our food. I and Asher were getting along really well. Asher started to scoot closer to me until he couldn't anymore. "So is this you teasing me?" I looked at him confused, "What are you talking about?" All of a sudden I feel a slap on my thigh and feel the hand start to move higher. Before it could get any higher than it already was I slapped Asher across the cheek and push him off me. "WHAT THE HELL? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? YOU CAN'T JUST DO THAT TO GIRLS WITHOUT THEIR CONSENT!" I shout at the top of my lungs getting looks from everyone in the restaurant. I quickly walk away from where he was sitting and out of the restaurant doors.
As I walk out of the restaurant I could feel tears dwelling in my eyes on the verge of falling. The moment I look up to see where I'm walking, I bump into someone almost knocking me down. "I-I'm s-so sorry. I w-wasn't looking where I-I was g-going," I say with a stuttering voice. As I walk away I hear my name. "Ashly? Or can I still call you Ash?" I turn around looking at the guy I just bumped into. I recognize the face and the voice are familiar, deeper, but familiar.
A/N: I would say in advance that I apologize if my chapters aren't updated as frequently as other stories because I am still in school and have to try to keep up with my school work. So if it takes a while for the next chapter to be published please forgive me.
