Episode 14: Thrashed

Osiris evaded the tendrils with his speed whilst he held on his scythe. The Daimyo-Akuma was surprisingly very agile even though the two of them were fighting in a tight space which was in the station platform.

"Damn it. Too loose!" Ozi said to himself. He dashed towards the left and another darkness tendril followed him.

The Soul Reaver tried to charge up his Youkai pressure on his scythe. Another set of dark tendrils made their way towards him and tried to attack him. The giant spider Akumajunin was trying to aim its dark webs towards the black-clad Soul Reaver in order to immobilize him but the Soul Reaver was too fast.

Osiris was using his flash step speed to evade the attacks. The tendrils continued to chase him and immediately when he saw an opening, he countered with slashes of his own and subsequently it severed the tendrils made of dark energy.

The Soul Reaver took notice that the giant demon arachnid reeled back upon his attack and immediately he put the pressure on it and continued his rush towards the giant spider. He jumped up high in the air and executed a vertical slash with his scythe. The attack was coated with blue flame Youkai pressure and again the Daimyo-Akuma flinched once more.

The giant spider tried to get on the counter attack as it fired a series of dark web attacks now but the latter attacks were just burned off by the Soul Reaver and another vertical slash connected on the giant spider.

Ozi landed on the ground. His eyes were bright amber in color whilst he held on his scythe. Elle laid eyes on him and she was amazed as usual. She felt this time that there was no bloodlust on his way of battling the giant demon dweller.

"Nice job Ozi!" she shouted. The Soul Reaver looked towards the blonde to give her a thumbs up but then he noticed a dark tendril approaching right behind her.

"Elle look out!" Osiris shouted as he rushed to get behind her. The girl shouted and closed her eyes while she braced herself for the incoming attack, but then she felt calm blue flames surround her.

The Soul Reaver sliced the tendril into oblivion while protecting the blonde-haired girl from danger. His flames wrapped the two of them now and the girl noticed that they were not burning her.

"These flames feel cold." Elle thought to herself. "And yet they also feel..." she continued to think to herself.

"Familiar..." she found herself blurting out of the blue.

Ozi on the other hand now held on the Apex Released version of his weapon.

"Chotenkai (Apex Release)" Ozi said with a serious look on his face. "Kagemoyasu 影燃やす (Shadow Burner)" he added.

The Daimyo-Akuma tried to brace itself and let out a series of tendrils in order to attack the black-clad Soul Reaver. The latter stood still and instead smirked whilst his darkened blue flame Youkai eagerly raged around him.

The spider-like creature began moving as well and it rushed towards Osiris with a speed that was as fast as raging winds. Elle was a bit worried now and she nudged him.

"What the hell are you doing?! It's coming this way!" she shouted. Osiris paid the panic of the female blonde no mind.

He readied Kagemoyasu and immediately a blue fire cloaked the blade of his sword. His eyes lit up a light blue color and he shifted in to a stance in which he held his blade with both hands facing forward as if he was going to execute a forward thrust.

"Yoganwaru! (Molten Splitter) 溶岩割る" he shouted and when the gigantic demon dweller rushed towards him, it made contact with his blade. A blue flame burst out of his weapon which protected him and the girl beside him.
