"Ow," The lady spoke again, Minghao winced along with her as she made a good decision to get off of her. Sweeping off excess dust that might've gotten onto her undergarments and her bra. "Need help?" Minghao let out a hand to the beauty, watching as the other nodded.

Minghao helped up the beauteous lady with a work of strength. "Thank you very much Lady Wen" The woman in front of her bowed as Minghao shook her hand, reaching for the other's hand as she rubbed the back of the other's hand.

"Call me Minghao, no need for the formality." She said as the taller had doe eyes encased in her sockets as she nodded, her lips jutted out. The painted red makeup was obvious, Minghao was glad that this beautiful lady's melanin wasn't covered by the hideous white powder called makeup.

"If you're Minghao, I'm Mingyu. Similar, right?" The lady—Mingyu let out a small noise of laughter as Minghao's heart felt like it grew wings.

Minghao tapped her hand softly, gaining the taller's attention once again as she brought Mingyu up to one of the maids' quarters. It was stuffy and cold, but it was distant enough from the party and quiet enough so that they could be alone, Minghao figured.

She let go of Mingyu's hand as she immediately stood in front of the window with no glass, wind brushing against her cheek like an invisible hand. "What's a elegant lady like you doing here?" Mingyu questioned as she observed the maids' room. It was jam-packed and only had a bed as the furnishing.

"Alone, being alone at best." Minghao let out a chuckle, it was funny. She'd thought being married to someone like Junhui would have a little bit more excitement than marrying a stranger. But right now, Minghao wouldn't have been afraid to marry this stranger right now if it was legal.

"That doesn't sound very, married life" Mingyu's voice only came closer until her breath brushed against her earlobe. "It doesn't, right?" Minghao didn't mind the other's presence being so close, she'd just leaned closer to the outside of the world. Watching as tiny people from the ground floor gathered to be inside to be apart of the 'main event' as the party at the Wen's.

"You know what doesn't sound lonely?" Minghao felt the warmth of a hand brush against her hand as she turned her head. "What—"

She'd been interrupted, the most impolite thing you could do to a wife of a host of the royal gathering. Minghao should maybe feel insulted, but she felt like melted candle wax, dripping off of a candle.

Maybe Mingyu had been the flame to her candle. Minghao fully turned her body towards the other's as she wrapped her arms around Mingyu's neck, than lowering them down the long expanse of her back.

Their lips had intertwined, she could taste the perfume of the taller's on her tongue. Bitter, really, but she didn't mind. No she didn't, not at all. Not when Mingyu's tongue is prodding against her bottom lip and she let her in. Not when she is kissing a lady surely made from the gods in her mere bra and undergarments.

She only minded when she heard a "Minghao? Where are you dear?" certainly the voice's owner belonging to her husband. Minghao pulled away as she untangled her hands from Mingyu's back and pulled her lips away from the other's.

Minghao couldn't help but be lost in those eyes. Those big and round eyes that had resembled one of the dogs she'd see on the streets. Those eyes that looked like they have a flame, flittering, waiting to melt something, like Minghao was it's victim.

"Minghao?" Her husband's voice had only gotten closer as Mingyu gave a doped grin and a push to Minghao's shoulder. "Go, he's looking for you" Mingyu settled on whispering since they're only inches apart. Her voice had a lisp attached to it. Minghao couldn't help but melt at the way this complete stranger had her attention.
