Ichika landed in the landslide zone.

She glanced around in an attempt to get her bearings and muttered a curse under her breath when the villains began surrounding her.

She slipped on her gas mask and sighed heavily, tossing a smoke bomb from her belt to the ground.

Ichika took a running start and shoved into one of the villains with her shoulder, knocking them down.

"Why, you little brat!" he grabbed her by the hair and a loud scream escaped from her.

With tears in her eyes from the pain, Ichika began singing, reaching up and flicking the switch of her microphone on.

Her eyes went from green to silver as they began to glow.

She watched as the eyes of the villain in front of her glazed over and he turned to one of his allies.

The villain began lunging at people they had previously been working with.

As long as Ichika kept singing, they would fight each other.

None of them were particularly skilled. It surprised Ichika that there wasn't at least one super dangerous villain here.

She was only 15, and pulling their strings was as easy as breathing.

Usually, people with stronger wills could fight it, but these "villains" were having trouble even thinking on their own after hearing her song.

They made very good puppets, which made her think... that must have been what they were meant to be: puppets.

She couldn't use their quirks, since she didn't know them well enough, or whether she could bring the whole facility down around them if she couldn't control it. She had to rely on hand-to-hand combat with them. It took incredible focus, but she would switch between the people.

Ichika saw ice over one of the hills and her heart skipped a beat.

Todoroki, she thought. I'm so glad he's safe, and here with me.

She couldn't stop singing, though; she was entirely surrounded by villains, and it would only take a moment for them to overtake her if they stopped fighting.

After she got what she thought was the last guy taken down, she sighed heavily and turned around to walk and find Todoroki.

"Sakurai!" she heard him call, a twinge of panic in his voice. "Look out!"

She turned to see a villain creeping up on her, and before she could react, his foot connected with her shin.

She heard a sickening crack, and before she knew it, she was falling to the ground.

She heard someone screaming, only to realize moments later that it was coming from her.

Ice spread quickly across the ground, leaving only a small circle around her untouched.

Todoroki had frozen the villain and now he was standing over her.

"Are you okay?" he asked urgently as he knelt next to her.

His hands hovered over her leg, as if he wasn't sure what to do.

Ichika felt tears welling in her eyes, shutting them tightly. "Y-yeah I'm okay. We need to— we need to meet up with the others," she began an attempt to stand on her own, which ended with her collapsing and crying out in pain.

Todoroki sighed and formed a splint out of ice. "Hold still," he said, kneeling down and freezing it around her leg.

"That's so cold!" she shivered.
