"DADDY"

Marinette was in the kitchen just messing around when she spilt some orange juice over some clean dishes on the table. And the only way she knew she'd make her daddy happy, was if she did the hard work for him.

He's already been working a lot. So this was the only way she could make his house chore duties decrease. So Marinette started washing the first few dishes when she started getting bored. And there was so much left. So she decided to play around with the water.

And, all of it was great because she found a pot and filled it with water, but Damian entered the kitchen and saw her. He thought she was washing the dishes but saw her spill and refill the same pot with water.

"Marinette, the water isn't free".

" WHAT"!? She shrieked. She looked at the water inside the pot and quickly spilt it all.

"BE FREE WATER"!!!

She looked at her dad for approval but he just pinched the bridge of his nose. But to her, that was a keep on going motion. So she opened all of the faucets in the house including the hose outside and screamed once again.

" BE FREE WATER"!!!!!!!

After this little act, Marinette looked through the house and looked for other things that were imprisoned or trapped or, just about anything. And just when her daddy Dami turned on the stove, she spoke.

" Daddy, the fire is imprisoned behind those rails like a prisoner".

"That's great hun" was all he said. And, this was all probably because he couldn't hear through the water coming out of the faucets.

But she decided on letting the fire go for now. Her Daddy left the kitchen and Marinette decided to look deeper and find just about anything. And she did.

"Daddy, why do the cabinets have dandruff if they don't have hair like us"? She said. And this time, Damian heard everything perfectly from far away.

" WHAT"!?

"Oh, don't worry, I'll wash it away for you while you go do whatever you were doing".

He was a little hesitant to leave but did so anyways. It's not like there could be something worse than water and high bills to pay next month.

But after Damian left, Marinette went outside and grabbed the running hose that was just flying like crazy.

She took it inside and Damian was in his room with his door closed and was very distracted doing something very distracting.

Marinette grabbed some soap suds and recreated that one spongebob scene with Patrick shooting Gary with water and soap at the same time. Only this was aimed at the kitchen cabinets.

And, in the end, the kitchen smelled like all sorts of flour and sugar.

" Ohhhh, maybe it wasn't dandruff but just some flour or powder". She said when she realized after smelling the wet kitchen.

But, she didn't care anymore. The kitchen was now clean and her Daddy said he'd wash it tomorrow over the past three years. So tomorrow, was never going to come. And In her opinion, she actually started believing the kitchen was yellow and not white.

She quickly got rid of the hose and returned to the kitchen. She saw the stove not turned on so she decided to turn it on.

She went to the living room and saw the fireplace was on. At least that just saved her extra work. So now it was her time to commence the last stage of -Freedom in the U.S. Means freedom for all- plan.

So she entered her daddy's room and spoke.

"Daddy, I want you to go and stay outside. No matter what happens, Don't go in. Just sit down on the bench".

" Yeah, no. Why would I be doing that"?

"Because I said so. Now go or I will do something you'll regret".

" Ugh, fine".

Damian left his room and went outside. So Marinette decided it was time.

She walked over to the fire place and opened the railed doors and grabbed a pillow and shoved it in there.

The pillow was burning alive and increased the chance of getting out of the fire place. So Marinette threw in some string and left a bit out so it could catch on.

After that, she entered the kitchen and turned on the stove. She got rid of the rail things and three in some paper. And with that, she left the house and sat by her Daddy.

He was on his phone and wasn't acknowledging the girl. And she was glad because he might want to stop her.

So she waited and waited after about 10 minutes. And during those minutes, the fire that was able to escape, increased. And smoke was barely visible. It just looked like smoke coming from the chimney. So that was fine.

Until the fire started going out a little and Marinette smiled.

"Daddy, look". She pointed a little too excited.

" Oh, cool. I'm looking". He was definitely not looking but Marinette thought he actually finally approved of her.

And, 30 more minutes passed and the fire was now visible to everyone until Damian spoke up.

"What's that smell"? And he looked up.

" OH my goodness, Marinette, did you do that"!?

"Oh, me? Yeah, why" ?

The two stared at the house burning down and said nothing. It was already getting dark and the two lived on private land away from the rest of the town.

Neither of their eyes left the scene and Marinette spoke up one last time.

"Isn't Felix coming over tonight"?

And yes she was right. Well a little.

A car parked near the entrance to their property and Felix just looked at the scene while walking towards the two.

"So, who burned down the place of no one is too embarrassed to speak"?

" My Daddy "
