We walk off the bus and immediately, someone screams at the sight of Zayn. Liam grabs my hand and we all dash away, followed by security. Of course I get stuck with the boy who was put on the reserve list for the Olympics! I complain inwardly as I try to keep up with him.

We escape the girls and make it to the mall. Everyone is tired and out of breath as security tries to fend  off crazy girls. A large hand replaces Liam's. I look up to find Harry smiling, dimples galore. Oh. My. God. He's so adorable!

Suddenly, hate is spewed out like venom from angry Harry girls. I cower a bit. The words are super harsh. Harry's grip tightens as we walk into the mall.

"Where to first?" Louis asks.

"American Eagle!"

Everyone except for Niall gives me a funny look. I smile.

"Groups of two?" Liam suggests. We break off into groups: Niall and Liam, Zayn and Louis, Harry and I.

Harry holds onto my hand tightly.

"Afraid I'm going to get lost?" I tease. He laughs, but his grip stays tight. We go to Hollister for him and he tries everything on, asking my opinion. He buys some stuff and signs a few autographs before we head out and go to American Eagle. We meet Niall and Liam there too.

We pick out some clothes for Harry and I help Niall get some new stuff too. Harry tries to get me to try on a dress, but I refuse and he gives up.

Harry and I finally go to Spencers and I get some clothes and cool things. I also happen to find some cool pieces of clothing that I can use for cosplay costumes.

When we get to the Hot Topic, I feel like a kid in a candy store. They have everything. I rush around the store, grabbing things and fangirling over just the amount of items thay have there. I then realize that this will probably end up costing over a thousand dollars. I start to put stuff back.

"What are you doing?" Harry asks, crossing his arms.

"Putting stuff back. I'm sorry, I got a little too happy," I apologize.

"You can buy all of it. I have enough," he assures me. I don't even think about it.

"Nah. I couldn't," I tell him. He just stands there, looking amazed.

I narrow down what I buy to the stuff I really, really want. That only turns out to be a few shirts, a belt, and a few bottles of hair dye.

"Hair dye?" Harry asks me. I twirl a strand of fading teal hair around my finger.

"Yeah. I have to re-dye my hair," I reply.

We go to Claire's real quick and I get a few armbands, necklaces, and earrings, and then I'm done. Harry smiles and we sit in the food court together with Starbucks and Subway.

"I can't believe how little you spent," Harry tells me.

"How much did I spend?" I ask, even though it was Harry's money anyway.

"Only about $450," he tells me. I nod, still feeling guilty. He frowns and puts a hand on my back.

"It's fine. You should've seen how much money Taylor spent," he assures me, referring to his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift. I smile.

"She spent your money?" I question. "Even though she has millions of her own dollars?"

He sighs. "Yeah, makes no sense, right?"

I laugh a bit and take a sip of my hot chocolate. "Yeah..."

I look down at my sub and remember my mom. Flashback. I look away and quickly finish eating.

Harry grabs my hand as we're about to leave the mall. I tease him about it, but we walk outside with security, hands being held. We get back on the bus and let go.

I put my stuff away and grab the laptop that Liam and I share. I get on Twitter after listening to some Hollywood Undead, Sleeping with Sirens, and Pierce the Veil.

I'm completely shocked to find that I gained 300,000 followers and people were tweeting me pictures of Harry and I together at the mall. I type my name in on Google and before I press the search button, I see a suggestion for "Maddy and Harry Styles". I search that and a few magazine articles and tons of pictures of us at the mall pop up.

I bite my lower lip and log off Twitter. I go to find Linda.
