{1} Arrival

Aoi Kanzaki stood in front of the entrance to the sophisticated gates to the Academy. The walkways were bustling with students, some talking with friends and the occasional couples. Aoi did not want to admit that she was nervous. This was the first time for her to be a huge school like this one. The school she been at before was nothing compared to this academy.

The pigtail girl gulped a bit loudly, nervous to step inside. She hoped she would get along with someone here, unlike at her old school. Everyone seemed to be terrified at her at her old school. Aoi thought it was because she always had a stern frown on her face, or that her voice was loud and frightening. Many of the girls in her class were scared of her, afraid that she'll scold them of any wrongdoings.

"It's alright, Aoi." She heard a familiar quiet voice reassuring her. She turned to see her adopted sister, Kanao. Ah, Kanao. She was the only one who was there for her when they were at their past school together. She understood Aoi, and was never afraid of her.

Aoi and Kanao were both adopted from the Kocho sisters, Shinobu and Kanae. Aoi's parents died in a tragic car crash, while Kanao was taken away by her parents due to neglect and abuse. They were then taken in by the Kocho sister to raise them under their roof. The Kocho sister's parents were murdered years ago, so Aoi and Kanao held much respect for the two.

Aoi gave Kanao a small smile, accepting the comfort from her presence. At least she didn't have to enter alone. The morning bell rang in the distance, alerting both Kanao and Aoi that they should be proceeding to their homeroom. Unfortunately, Aoi and Kanao did not have homeroom together, so they had to depart from each other. The two butterfly hair clip girls enter the building and stumbling between the crowded corridors. Many people bumping into each other, resulting in pushing the two girls around the hall. Kanao would walk Aoi to her homeroom before she departed to her own. 

As Aoi finally reached to her destination, Kanao turned to her before she walked inside.

"Good luck." She quietly tells her with a small smile on her face. Aoi nodded and smiled back at her step sister.

"I got this Kanao, don't worry about me." Aoi confidentially says. Kanao gave a small nod before she waved to her step sister and dashes towards her homeroom. Aoi sighs as she watches Kanao disappear throughout the crowd of students passing. She grew nervous as she glanced at the entrance to her homeroom. She gulped before stepping inside the classroom. Once she entered however, there was a huge commotion disturbing the school atmosphere.

"Nezuko-chan! Please sit besides me! I don't wanna sit alone, you know! Nezukoooo-chan!" A loud, but squeaky annoying voice shouted desperately. Aoi instantly grew annoyed. She hated boys who tried to flirt with girls who show not even a speck of interest in them. That is not how women should be treated. She turned to see a boy with scrawny yellow hair following a girl with curly black hair around the classroom. It looked like the homeroom teacher hadn't arrived yet, so they couldn't put a stop to this madness. Aoi immediately stomped towards the blonde boy and pulled him the ear.

"What do you think you're doing!? Try showing respect to women! She won't like you if you keep bothering and pestering her to sit with you! This is shameless behavior!" She shouted loudly so the boy can hear her loud and clear. The blonde boy instantly cowered in fear, whimpering.

"Jeez, what a wimp." Aoi thought as she continued pulling the boy's ear, making him whimper even more.

"Ow! That hurts! I-I'm sorry! I won't do it again, I swear!!" The boy pleaded with messy tears rolling down his cheeks. Aoi couldn't believe that this guy went from a playboy, to sad in a manner of seconds. She finally lets go of his ear, making him drop to the classroom floor. Aoi muttered a few curses before she turned to see the girl he was chasing after, presumably named Nezuko, as the boy called her.
