Ali walk to the host who is about to call Johnny the winner of the All Valley Under 18 tournament. The host looks positive surprised when Ali tells him that Daniel is gonna fight. "Daniel LaRusso's going to fight? Daniel LaRusso's going to fight!" The last thing he screams to the crowd, making it roar in enthusiasm. "This is what it's all about, folks. You know it.

Clara looks proudly at her friend as he walks up to the ring. "How's your leg, son?" Asks the host, when Daniel answers the man laughs and looks back at the crowd. "All right. What a man!"

He holds up the trophy. "The final match to determine who'll emerge victor and champion of the All Valley Under 18 Karate Championship." He points the trophy at Daniel, who stands on the side of the mat. "Daniel LaRusso, Miyagi-do Karate." Daniel walks up to the host correcting his pronouncination of 'Miyagi-do', while the crowd claps for him.

"Miyagi-do Karate versus John Lawrence of the Cobra Kai." Clara claps excited, like she did for Daniel just seconds ago. She has mixed feelings about seeing them both fight each other, she doesn't want to see either of them get hurt. "Three points wins. Good luck, boys." The host walks off the mat and Clara makes eye contact with Johnny. She smiles softly at him, mouthing a 'good luck' , hoping for the fight to end as soon as possible.

Both boys stand opposite each other on the mat, bowing at first to the referee and then to each other. They take in their fighting stances and the referee starts the game. Johnny strikes first. He jumps at Daniel trying to kick him, but Daniel jumps to the side. Johnny tries to kick him over and over again, but Daniel blocks each of his kicks. Clara bites her lips in anticipation, deep inside of her she is rooting for the blonde to win.

When Daniel hits Johnny's mid section, he gets a point. "You're dead." Tells Johnny him when they get back into their fighting stances. The start fighting again and Johnny pushes Daniel to the ground, but he gets up quickly. Next to Clara scream Mrs. LaRusso and Ali motivational words at Danile. Clara herself keeps her mouth shut, not feeling like she should say anything.

Daniel slits to the ground trapping one of Johnny's legs, pulling him to the ground, he hits his back, getting another point. Johnny lies on the ground slowly getting up to his knees and hands. One of his hands reaches for his face holding his nose. Clara looks at him concerned, everything in her is telling her to run to him and help, but she controls herself knowing that she isn't allowed to do that. "Point! Jab! That's two for LaRusso." Announces the referee.

Johnny gets up still holding his nose, the referee calls for a time out sending Johnny to his Sensei. Clara wants nothing more that to just walk up to him and look if he really is alright, but she knows that Kreese wouldn't let her talk to him.

Both boys get back up in the ring. "That's two points LaRusso. Lawrence nothing." Tells the referee. He starts the fight, and Johnny is the first to attack once again, he sweaps Daniel's leg, making the boy fall to the ground. Clara looks shocked at the scene, knowing that Johnny plays dirty. She is also sure that it has something to do with what Kreese told him just a few seconds ago. "One point Lawrence. 2-1, LaRusso." Announces the man.
