"The fuck does that mean?" you asked.

You had a single eyebrow quirked up at Kagaya in question. He had told you something almost preposterous and unheard of in your opinion, and you were more than confused.

"Counseling with the Student Council?" you echoed his words incredulously. "Why would we need to do that?"

Kagaya sighed, "I don't want you all getting into further trouble and punishments." His words and tone, as usual, were sincere and genuine. No one ever believed he was the delinquent leader whenever they meet him; his gentle, calming behavior contrasted the sheer hostility of the rest of the group.

You yourself, like every other member in your little circle of friends, practically worshipped him for his kindness. It was almost uncanny and divine-like in the midst of chaos and threat.

"Watch how you're talkin' to the boss, L/N," Sanemi remarked from the side.

Your entire "delinquent" circle of friends were crowded on a single picnic table at the campus park, situated comfortably. As one of the people sitting up on the table itself instead of its attached bench, your lap made a nice, elevated pillow for Giyuu, who was fast asleep. Your fingers threaded through his hair every so often.

Sanemi, who had just spoke, was at the university for sports. He was a baseball player; And fitting the true delinquent aesthetic, he kept his bat with him at all times—especially leaned on his shoulder.

"She wasn't disrespecting him," Tengen shrugged in your defense.

"I wouldn't take offense either way," Kagaya laughed off, scratching the back of his neck awkwardly. "And besides," he started, "I already provided them with your phone number."

"You what?" Muichirou asked in a deadpan.

"You gave a bunch of strangers her number?" Kyoujurou repeated. When he put it that way, the situation felt a lot more absurd, and your motivation to comply dropped more than it already did.

"Think of Y/N as our spokesperson," Kagaya began to advise. The tone of his voice had adopted a semi-preaching one, indicating his commencement of a speech-like set of words. The group instinctively knew when to collectively shut their mouths at this time, and now was one of them. "They will give her information of events and counseling sessions we must attend, an relay that back to us," he described with a finger against his chin thoughtfully. "And if we have something to say, of course, Y/N will represent us and speak back."

Mitsuri pipped up, "Um, why couldn't they just use your number, boss?"

"I'm blood related to the the Executive President of the Student Council," he immediately replied.

This news was frankly a bit of a shocker to the friend group. The ironically kind delinquent leader was related to the rude Executive President of Student Council, whose name was infamous on campus for his arrogance despite his efficiency as a student and executive Council member.

"Apparently, they didn't want any potential biases from us being family," Kagaya continued. "And in my opinion," he began with a smile, "Y/N is the best here for peer relations."
