Transcript-Interrogation of Fr. Daniel Wallace
Interrogating Officer: Sgt. Adam Dalton
Location: 542 Tanner St.-St. Mark's Church
Dalton: You left a message with my office. I was told you needed to speak with me, Father.
Wallace: Yes, that's right. Thank you for coming over so quickly.
Dalton: What can I do for you?
Wallace: Well, your partner wanted me to let the police know if I heard anything about the Ludarac's or if anything strange occurred. Well, I found this on the altar this morning.
Dalton: Did you touch it?
Wallace: No, no, of course not. I figured you would want to take fingerprints and such. I used a towel to put it in this bag.
Dalton: You should have left it where it was.
Wallace: I'm sorry, Detective, but I didn't want anyone to see.
Dalton: Did you know who might have placed it there?
Wallace: No. It was just like the message I described to you last time we spoke. It was just here in the morning, sitting in the center of the altar. No one came in that I'm aware of. In fact, I may not have even called you if I hadn't seen the inscription on the blade.
Dalton: The Ludarac's will burn in hell.
Wallace: It's just like a message someone wrote on the altar-
Dalton: So I've heard. Thank you, Father Wallace. I'll take this off your hands.
Wallace: Thank you, Detective.
