Your unbridled affections bestowed
Won't move her
They never did
And they probably never will
I realize, you have come to a standstill
Sure, it stings a little
But she isn't yours to belittle
Just because she says "NO"
You say, you love her
But do you really?
She doesn't look down upon you
But you just can't seem to take the cue
Tell me, what is a woman to do?
Tell me why you continue to woo
Her after all these spiteful years
"Her goods" aren't yours to plunder
"Her space" isn't yours to take
"Her pretty face" isn't yours to burn
Just take a hint!
