Mycroft Holmes walked into the barber's with his head held high. He immediately sat down with a sigh on a seat whilst eyeing the man on the seat beside him.
"A simple shave, please, Martin".
The barber started to untie Mycrofts tie as his head was still held high with pride. The eldest Holmes looked to the side for a split second and saw the man — Lestrade — giving him a small grin, which he ignored and looked back at himself in the mirror.
"Their names?" He asked with another sigh.
"May Beatrice Posy and Frances Browning".
"The first one, she looked?"
"Small, dark, young" the man described.
"How young?" Mycroft asked, now eyeing Lestrade with his head slightly tilting in the chair.
"Barely past 20"
Mycroft hummed in response as the barber pulled the apron over him. "Her mind?"
"Sharp as a tack. And what she knew of Sherlock. . ."
"Oh, she knew a great deal?"
"As much as I"
"The other one?"
"Small, dark hair, young — around the same age as the first one — and she kept zoning out. . ."
"Interesting. . ." Mycroft responded as the barber applied shaving cream onto his beard. "Another sycophant. How very exciting"
"Will you tell me who they are?"
"Do you have any sense of where they might've gone?"
"Oh, you wish to track them down"
"I've been engaged in trying to do so for a number of days" Mycroft reaponded.
"Of course! She's your sister and. . . her friend — the murd — "
Mycroft lets out a 'ts-k' noise as he moved his head sharply to the side, trying to stop the man from fisnishing his sentence.
"Keep your mouth shut!" He said in a whisper shout. "Yes. And I believe I explicitly told you to look for them"
"W— You explicitly told me to look for a scrappy girl with no poise and possible for a wild girl with bushy hair and severe anger issues! These were women with extreme poise"
