Your perspective

You were reading a book, on the couch, as how you spend your many nights. You glance at your sleeping lover beside you, feeling slight chills, as the window was open. It had to have been atleast 2:00 in the morning, you wouldn't have known without glancing to the digital clock on the nightstand.
You quietly shut your book, placing it on the table near the lamp, and turning it on. Outer, however, was leaning away, so you weren't too worried about waking him. You look over to the window, the curtains gently billowing in the wind. Surprisingly, the wind felt nice. It was a nice change of temperature from the bed.
You had a great view from the second story bedroom as well, and could see the stars surrounding your home. You thought to yourself, what did I do to deserve him..? As you glanced back at him, lightly pecking him on the forehead and sliding out from against his ribs, gently moving his arms. You quietly shut your bedroom door as to not disturb the skel, sneaking down stairs. You heard a door open behind you and froze. You turned around, viewing a very sleepy outer, who yawned and rubbed his eyesocket with a palm. He let out a soft hum as his voice broke in, breaking.the silence.

'..Hm-? what's up?.. ´

You couldn't help but let out a long sigh, it was only him. You stammered out to him.

'...I was just going to get a cup of water..that's all.. ´

his tired expression softened as he frowned slightly. You wondered if you were in trouble.

outer's perspective

I frowned. How could I not, knowing of her past relationships. I sighed and gave a sympathetic look, as she looked down at the floor in fear. I gently placed my palm to her cheek, cupping the side of her face with my other hand on her shoulder, just below the fluff of my hood, the one she happened to be wearing. I couldn't help but feel worse when she flinched..Whatever her past experiences may have been, they must have done some terrible stuff to her..
I spoke up, hopefully to relieve the weight off of my chest.

' You're not...scared of me, are you?.. ´

she only whimpered in response, as I saw her face flush up like she was about to cry. I inhaled raggedly, I didn't mean to make her upset. I hug her, half-whispering into her ear, picking my words carefully in a comforting tone.

'you do know..I would never hurt you, right..?...´

She nodded, and after a few minutes of tension, I felt her relax in my arms.

'...there we go..hey, how about we get you down stairs, watch a movie? I can make you some hot chocolate? ´

I offer, loosening the hug. She nodded again, this time humming in response. I took that as a yes, sweeping her up bridal style, slipping on my slippers, and carrying her down stairs gently, raising her head so it was close to my chest. God, she was precious, and I felt the need to protect her.
