"Mr. Johnson can suck my dick," Alex stormed into lunch, slamming his tray onto the table. I jumped from the noise; I was concentrated on this new book I was reading. I glared at him as he sat down in a huff, inconsiderate to the people around him.

"That sounds lovely," I sighed while turning the page. Kara laughed lightly and Rian rolled his eyes.

"You've had problems with him all year. Chill out. It's not like you even need that gym credit ayway," he tried to reason with him while taking a bite of his burger. I forked a piece of chicken into my mouth from left over's last night.

"It's like, I accidentally hit him with a baseball at the beginning of the year and he's still holding it against me or something," Alex groaned incredulously. I snickered to myself quietly while Jack nearly choked on his sandwich. Alex looked up at me, trying to fight off a smile.

"Good to know you think it's funny," he flicked a tator tot at me. I shook my head while watching it fall to the floor. I went back to my book, trying to get lost in it instead of Alex's voice.

"We're almost out of here, just hold on until Summer, dude," Jack patted Alex on the back lightly. Alex slapped his hand away, running his fingers through his hair.

"I can't wait until we start touring," Alex moaned loudly. People at tables around us were beginning to stare, girls giggling at Alex. I looked at him, brow creasing.

"Tour for what?" I asked, apparently, it was a stupid question.

"Have you not been paying attention since you got here?" Jack nearly screamed, standing up. "We're going to be the greatest band to ever walk the planet!"

People were definitely staring now that Jack's arms were in the air. He bowed once before siting down, as if he just put on a one man performance or something.

My face flushed, I felt like a jerk for not listening.

"Well, I'm listening now. What kind of music do you guys play?"

"It's punk rock, I'd say," Kara added from the side. Alex nodded and grined.

"We have another friend from another school that plays bass. We're signed to a record label once we graduate," Rian included himself in the conversation.

"So, you guys must be something else then," I smirked while glancing to the annoying boy across from me, sarcasm dripping in my voice. Alex scoffed and rolled his eyes.

"We are something else. COme to one of our practices and you'll see for yourself," he challenged me. I raised my eyebrows at him, and he did the same back. It was like we were in a staring contest, and neither one of us would break the gaze. Alex has been challenging me since I arrived.

"Maybe I will sometime then," I said back. He laughed and shook his head.

"You're all talk beautiful," he teased, moving his water to his lips. While he drank, we never stopped looking at each other. I never broke the gaze, even though I was aware of the stares from the tables around us, girls who were glaring and Alex's friends who were curious. "I can tell already, just from looking at you."

        "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Exactly what I'm saying..you wouldn't come even if you wanted to. I could have told you that on Monday when you came into school. You're not a people person," he rasied his eyebrows at me. I felt my cheeks flush. I was becoming more frustrated by the minute. I really couldn't stand Alex.

"You're wrong," I said through gritted teeth.

"Alex, stop being an ass," Kara complained to Alex. I broke his gaze for a moment to look at Kara scold him, annoyed. Her eyes were on his, and when I looked back, his eyes were on me again.

"Then prove me wrong, come with me to our practice tonight," He smirked at me. I already hated that smirk, it was too confident. He was way too sure of himself.

"Fine then, tell me where I'm going and I'll be there," I clenched my fingers. His smirk great further, and he chuckled again. He nodded his head and forked a piece of lunch into his mouth.

"I'll pick you up and take you," he said afterwards.

"Fine, follow me to my house," I snapped back, satisfied with myself.

        "Alright princess, I will."
