Buddar stared up at the massive castle, its walls were made of a sturdy black stone, and there were four huge turrets at each corner of the dark palace. The dark shadow of the night only made the castle look even more creepy. "Welcome, miss," Navy said. "To the Castle of Shadows."
The name fits. Buddar thought as Navy led her up to the castle. I hope Lyra finds Link soon. The little fairy had left quite some time ago while Navy wasn't looking to go get help. Navy led Buddar through the castle doors, which instantly opened up to reveal a massive room. On two both sides of the room where staircases that led up to the corner turrets, and there were hallways that led deeper into the castle. In the center of the back wall where two massive doors. Navy dragged Buddar towards the doors and into some kind of massive throne room. It reminded Buddar of Princess Zelda's throne room, but the curtains where drawn, which kept all outside light from entering. The only illumination in the room were a few torches that lined the stone walls. In the very back of the throne room was a massive throne built out of the bones of Hylians, the very sight of it made her uneasy. Navy left Buddar there, and quickly left the room, shutting the doors behind her.
Buddar gazed around the dark room, she could hardly see anything. Then she heard the sound of something moving in the shadows. "Who's there?" She asked, trying to hide her uneasiness. This place gave her the creeps.
"Don't worry," Someone said. "If you don't hurt me, I won't hurt you." The voice sounded a lot like Link's, but it was deeper, and had a bit of a cold tone to it.
"Show yourself." Buddar growled. "You wanted me to come here, and I want to know exactly why."
"I'm right here." She heard them whisper into her ear, their warm breath sending uncomfortable chills down her spine. "Turn around."
Buddar turned around, standing behind her was a boy about her age that looked exactly like Link, except for the fact that his tunic was black, his skin was grey, and his hair was white. His red eyes glowed in the darkness as she stared at him in shocked confusion. "W-Who are you?" Buddar asked.
He smiled warmly at her. "I'm Shadow Link," He said. "But you may just call me Shadow."
Buddar stared at him for a few moments longer, then she came to her senses and glared at him. "What do you want from me?" She growled.
Shadow smirked at her and slowly began to walk around her in circles. "What I want, my dear, is company." He said. "You see, it gets very lonely here in my castle, and Navy is too scared of me to stay near me for very long. In fact, everyone is frightened of me."
Buddar gave him a confused look. "And what does this have to do with me?" She asked.
He stopped walking, he was standing in front of her. "You... you are not afraid." He said, turning so he could see her. "I can see it in your eyes, you aren't like other Hylians."
His red eyes met hers, his gaze softened. "Which is why," He said. "I want you to stay here with me."
