Marissa's POV
"Marissa?" I heard his voice say again.

"Josh." I said. You see Josh is my ex-boyfriend. This douchebag was too controlling and too overprotective. I left him and he got pissed at me that he was about to attack me. Lucckkillyy I left as soon as I could.

"Baby, why did you leave?" He whispers holding my arms. I began to be scared.

"Josh, please let go." I said worriedly.

"But Mari-"

"No. Josh get the fuck off of me." I said trying to let go of his grip but he only held tighter.

"Babe you're not going anywhere." Josh says. I cried.

"Let go!" I cried.

"Stop resisti-"

"Let go of her." I heard a random male voice say.

"Or what? Go away Asian boy." Josh says trying to drag me away.

"I said let go of her." The voice says again. I then see a random arm punch Josh in the face. Josh immediately lets go of my arms. I quickly grab my bags and run to my car. I quickly put my things away and run to the front of the car. I look forward to see the man and Josh still fighting. Without thinking I run out the car and run to the fight.

I see that Josh was beat up. I pulled the man back.

"Please stop, he's done. The bastard can lie there for now." I said.

"Marissa, you have to be careful." The man says. I gave him an confused look. I turned him around to see a familar Asian face who's nose was bleeding.

"Evan?" I whispered.

"Ayyyeee. You finally talk to me irl." He jokes. I chuckled and shook my head.

"How do you know what I look like?" I asked.

"Uhhh when you did that adorable- I-I mean uh your face reveal?" Evan said blushing after he said adorable.

"Omf you're cute in person." I said pinching his cheeks.

"Shuttup shorty." Evan teases as he wipes his nose.

"Do you need a napkin?" I asked worriedly.

"No its okay. You better get going. You said you had work tomorrow." Evan said scratching the back of his neck. UGHH HES SO ADORABLE IN REAL LIFE.

"Uh, right. I forgot. Um I'll see you later?" I said awkwardly. I began to walk back to my car.

"Wait, Marissa can I uhh. Have your number?" Evan asked as he ran after me. I smiled and nodded. We handed each other our phones typed in our numbers and gave back our phones.

"I'll text you later." We said at the same time. I kept smiling and looking down.

"Yeah, bye Evan." I said.

"Bye Rissa." He said as he walked away. I walked in my car and started fan girling.

"I CAN'T UGHHHH SEMPAI ACTUALLY NOTICES ME UGH!" I cried squealing.

I yawned turning off the alarm on my phone. I look at the clock.

"5:45am." It read.

"Ughh." I groaned. I get outta bed and walk to the bathroom and did my morning routine. I then put my hair in a bun and walked to the kitchen. I made coffee and toasted some bread. I grabbed Nutella and a knife. After I ate I went back to my room and changed into my uniform. (Picture of the outfit up top)

I yawned again and grabbed my things and went into the car.

I drove to the restaurant I worked at and clocked in.

"Moorrnniinngg Marrss!" I hears Macy's voice yell.

"Holy shit I forgot her present in the car." I said to myself.

"Heyy birthday girl." I said hugging my best friend.

"Where's my present boo?" she asked. I chuckled and shook my head.

"At break okay?" I asked as I tied my apron around my waist.

"Mars, someones here already." I heard my co-worker said. I nodded and looked around. I saw the person and went to write down their order.
