She found herself in immeasurable pain. Falling through the darkness, she tried to scream, but no sound came out. She couldn't see anything, not even her own body. Panicking, she called out for her mother, her father, her sister, anyone to save her, yet there was no sound. Deciding that yelling was useless, she tried to calm herself down.

Eventually, the pain subsided. Then, to her surprise, she could see a faint light. She opened her eyes...

White. All white. It wasn't even bright or blinding. Just... white. She realized she was lying on her stomach, and sat up with a grunt. Now she could see her body, but... nothing else. There was nothing anywhere. Not even a floor. Just her.

When she looked at her shoes, however, they were somewhat blurry. She found herself squinting to see the silver high-tops. To her right was what seemed to be a pair of glasses. Instinctively, she grabbed them and put them on. She could see her feet more clearly now.

She stood up, wobbling a bit due to the distinct lack of visible floor. Where was she? Why was she here?

     Who... was she?

She began to panic. She couldn't remember anything, like who she was, what she was doing here. She couldn't even remember her name! Frustration took over as she wracked her brain for answers. Finally deciding that this was useless, she thought of a different approach. She couldn't be the only one here, right? There has to be someone out there. So she yelled for someone to help her. After waiting about a minute, she tried again. She screamed and pleaded for someone, anyone to help her.

     But nobody came.

Overwhelming emotions took over her, and tears spilled down her cheeks. She dropped to her knees and sobbed. She couldn't take it. Sadness, anger, fear. It was all too much. She curled up in a ball on the transparent floor and tried to calm herself down, but she couldn't control her quick, heavy breaths. Questions flooded through her head. How did she get here? How does she get out? Will she ever get out? Will she die here? Will she go mad from being alone?

Eventually, she cried herself to sleep. In her dream she saw three figures, two tall ones, and one short one. She couldn't make out their faces, or, perhaps, she couldn't remember. Who are they? They had a certain familiarity, but she just couldn't remember. Then, the shorter one reached out and giggled playfully.

     "Come"

     "play"

     "with"

     "me,"

     " ̶͉̎́̈̍̂ ̶͇̣̈́̈́̏͘ ̷̩̖̙̈́͆̆ ̴̛̪̜̯͉̔̐̽̚ ̵̛̦͖̬͍̃͊̽̈́"̵͍̝͎̈͐̚☒̷͍͊̎̓̚̚ͅ☒̶̼̂̈☒̴̝̻͛̉☒̷̧̐̏̐͝☒̶̟͈̞̐̀☒̶̳͈͒͐́☒̸̡̛̱̳͐̀̽☒̶̼̖̤͙́̕☒̵̞̀̇̐͐̈́.̵̘͈͔̓"̷͍̼̝͈̭̈́̂͌̍̏ ̶̧̠͉̞͖̍̋ ̷̛̦̹͊̓̾ ̸̫̘͚̝͚͂̎́̚ ̴͖̰͎͇̽́̄̈́̋͜ ̵̧̧͈̥̭̈́͌̾̓̽"

As she was about to grab the figure's hand, they let out a sharp scream. The girl heard a loud bang, and suddenly the figure's head exploded, splattering blood and flesh into her face. Traumatized by what she had just witnessed, she fell backwards and crawled away from the remnants of the smaller figure. She looked up to see the taller figures shambling towards her, twitching and contorting their limbs in impossible ways. She scrambled to get up and run, but no matter where she looked, they were there. As they closed in on her, the floor suddenly collapsed from under her feet.

Her descent was put to an abrupt stop by something tightening around her neck. She clawed at her throat, unable to breath. She kicked and flailed her dangling feet around, and all the while her vision was fading.
