Chapter 2: Young Love Announcement

Shortly after Sabriye's incident upon arrival at Mewni, Sabriye was left to spend some time with Star and Marco. That was when a certain realisation hit her and she grinned from ear to ear. "So..." She began, gaining the young couple's attention. "Now that I know that you destroyed the magic and it came back..."

Star and Marco waited patiently for her to continue. They thought it was an issue regarding the magic when, in fact, it wasn't what they expected. Sabriye, with the grin remaining in its place, asked, "Doesn't that mean you guys are a couple now?" Star and Marco then blushed a bright pink - as pink as Star's cheek marks.

"H-How do you know that?!" Star and Marco shouted, both out of shock and embarrassment. Luckily, Sabriye saw it coming, thanks to Psychic's Future Sight and covered her ears before they did what they did. She then replied, with a smile, "Remember, I'm a fan of you guys. And that means..."

She trailed off as she fished her phone out of her pocket and showed them video. They blushed even more as it was a scene they recognised. The memory was so fresh in their minds that they recognised it at first glance. It was when they confessed to each other and kissed before their final battle with Mina Luvberry.

"Y-You saw that?" Marco asked, while blushing madly. Nodding, Sabriye answered them, "Yeah, and including the others that ship you two." The young couple raised eyebrows in confusion. "Ship?" They asked simultaneously. "It means pair you two together," Sabriye deadpanned.

"Oh," they responded, again, simultaneously while nodding in understanding. There was a moment of silence in the air. "If you're worried about me or the fans approving of your relationship, don't worry, we do approve. Knowing Eclipsa, I bet she would as well. Can't say the same for Queen Moon, though. Or King River, for that matter," Sabriye told, with a smile.

Star and Marco sighed and smiled in relief. Again, there was a moment of silence in the atmosphere. Breaking the ice, Sabriye questioned, with an eyebrow raised, "Wait... Did you tell them about your relationship?" The silence as their eyes widened was enough to answer her question.

In all honesty, Sabriye wasn't all that surprised, due to the challenges they had to face in order to defeat Mina. With a grin that screamed mischief, she said excitedly, and rather quickly, "Well, now's your chance!"

Dragging them by their wrists and ignoring their yelps and protests, she used Psychic's Scanning Eye as she ran around in search for her favourite queen of Mewni. Eventually, she found her in her room in the Rose Tower, gazing lovingly at the beautiful rose garden from her window.

"Hey, Eclipsa!" Sabriye chirped excitedly. Eclipsa, facing the owner of the chipper voice, acknowledged with a smile, "Oh, Sabriye, dear, you seem rather awfully chipper since we met at the throne room. Did something happen?"

Sabriye sang excitedly, with a smile, "Oh, nothing happened per se but these two have something to announce~" referring to Star and Marco, who were standing frozen stiff. Star began, "W-Well, like Sabriye said, we have something to tell you. And Mom and Dad." Eclipsa nodded, signalling to continue.

Marco then continued for Star, "We are... Uhhh..." He trailed off nervously. Eclipsa waited patiently for their announcement while Sabriye was just standing next to her with a grin on her face. Noticing how hesitant they were about announcing about their relationship, she then suggested, with the grin still plastered on her face, "Want me to do the honours?"

Star and Marco looked at each other and nodded in agreement. Sabriye then did the honours, "Well, what they were trying to say is that they are now officially you-and-Globgor 2.0." There was an awkward moment of silence and, finally, Eclipsa raised an eyebrow and uttered a baffled and confused, "What?"

Sabriye elaborated on a whisper, that was still loud enough for Star and Marco to hear her, "They're officially a couple!" Eclipsa's eyes widened in surprise and there was awkward silence in the air. She then questioned Star and Marco if they had told Moon, which, in turn, they said they didn't. Immediately, Eclipsa grinned and pushed them out of the room as she searched for Moon.

Finally, she found her talking to her husband, River Butterfly. When they acknowledged their presence, River noticed the unfamiliar soul among the four. "Hmmm... Who might you be, young girl?" He questioned with a welcoming smile under his mustache. Sabriye greeted with a smile and a slight bow, "Sabriye Unisa, King River."

Chuckling slightly, he responded, "Oh, so you are the Sabriye girl my wife was talking about. And no need to be so formal. Just call me River." He lent out a hand, signalling a handshake. Sabriye returned the gesture with a smile and a firm handshake. That didn't go unnoticed by River, "Haha, a good, firm handshake. You must have such strength."

Sabriye thanked him for his compliment. "Queen Moon-" Sabriye began but was interrupted by the said woman, who had a smile on her face, "Like River said, no need to be so formal. You may call me Moon." Sabriye smiled back, "As I was saying, Moon, there's something your daughter and her squire would like to announce."

Facing the said couple, Moon and River waited patiently for their announcement. It was apparent that they were hesitant to say it. Finally, Star mustered up the courage to announce, rather quickly, "Marco and I are together!" Moon and River's eyes widened and, unexpectedly, smiled, close to a smirk. This is raised eyebrows in confusion.

"Star, darling, you didn't need to say that. We know," Moon replied, causing Star, Marco and Sabriye's eyes to widen in surprise. Star immediately stuttered, "Y-You know?!" Moon nodded and responded, with a smile, "Why, yes, Eclipsa, River and I know."

Star then shouted out of shock, "Then, why didn't you say anything?!" Moon, River and Eclipsa chuckled in amusement. Eclipsa replied, with a grin, "We were wondering when you would admit it to us, so we waited." River then added, with a smile, "Don't worry, we all approve. Marco is a good boy, after all."

Sabriye, who was the first among the trio to snap out of her trance and back to reality, chuckled. "It was that obvious, huh?" Nodding in response, Moon, River and Eclipsa chuckled, leaving Star and Marco standing at their positions in shock, unable to register what had happened. Quickly, Sabriye said, with a grin, "Told you they would approve, especially Eclipsa."

Star and Marco snapped out of their trance and back to reality and looked at each other. Eventually, they started chuckling along with them. Sabriye grinned as her mission to announce about their relationship was accomplished.

Clapping her hands in delight, she had an innocent smile, although what she said next was not as innocent, "Great, that settles it. Now, we just have to work on the marriage!"

"SABRIYE!" The blushing couple shouted, bringing laughter out of the said girl.
