Lisa pov

"So.....you two are okay now?"

Chaeng ask me.
We are in the coffee shop that she is managing.

"Yeah....I guess"
I said and sip my coffee

"Umm... aren't you gonna make a move?
This is your chance"

She asked

"They didn't break up yet, Chaeng.
And I'm not sure if she still love him"

I said with a sad smile

" She.....
.....I don't know...if..."
I said and look down
I can't find the right word to say.
Or may be I can't just say that..

'I'm not ready .
I'm scare she would reject me and I'll lose our friendship.
I can't live without her.
I know I want more than bestfriend but I don't think Ill be able to bear the bad consequences.'

I sighed but she pat my shoulder

"I'm scare Chaeng.
And I don't know what to say if she asked that question again.
(About my weird behaviors)
And I don't know how to say that it's all because of her."
I smile bitterly

"Lisa...Lisa..
I understand you but I won't lie the fact that

You're still stupid
even after you lost everything without a try .
There's nothing to lose if you give a try.
At least she know that you love her and if she can't love you back,you have the strongest reason to move on.

Don't stick to that postponing ways of yours"

She said while shaking her head.
I wonder if she hear my thoughts.

I give her the job to be my girlfriend but here she is pushing me to confess someone.
This Chipmunk is really something.

"Just confess her.
Before you are too late.
For the second time."

She said and eat her cake.
That's sounds so easy for them.
But walk in my shoes first.

I hate myself for telling every single
detail about my love life to this Chipmunk.

I'll never drink with her again.

"Okay..
I'll try"

I said and smile at her.

"Thank you Rosé."
She just nodded

"Just promote me"
She said grinning

I've already decided to take a shot to confess her again.

I'll ask  her a dinner tommorow and I'll tell her everything that I've burried in my deepest mind.

I need to be brave,at least once.

"Hey Lisa "

"Hey Jennie.
Do you have time tommorow?"

"Yeah..why?"

"I want to hang out with you.

I-I mean..

Cause....you know it's been a long time  we haven't hang out.
And I kinda miss you.
And let's have dinner too."

"Omg Lisa .I would love to.
Tomorrow?
Wait.
You'll fetch me right?"
She said and laugh

"Of course I will."
I smile

" bye Lisa .
See you tomorrow"

"Okay."
Then she hang up the phone

The next day

Lisa pov

This is the day....that supposed to be a romantic dinner date

But guess what
We are at the park now.
Cause Jennie was insisting me to go to the park instead.
And yeah I grant her wish.

All of my plan got wasted but no complain.
I have Jennie here.

But I don't know how to confess her.
I'll just play it by ear.

We walk silently.
No one is speaking.

Cause something awkward happened earlier.
Actually it's not that matter.

What matter is that I don't know what is up with Jennie.
She is a little bit strange.
I mean she is not that quiet of a  person.

And also she's been acting shy which is super weird.

Earlier,when we bought cotton candy and the seller was like
'..you two look so good. Are you guys on a date?
You got a cute girlfriend.
Wow your girlfriend is so handsome'

and i was happy of course.
But I hide it cause I don't want Jennie to feel awkward with me.
She has a 'not yet break up boyfriend' after all.
But when I look at her she is super red.
But I thought maybe she was cold so I took off my coat and give her when we already far from the crowded place.

And not like her , she blushed.

And those things make me shut up,
up until now.
I don't wanna misinterpret it .

We walked for like fifteen minutes without saying anything.
I want to ask her about her boyfriend cause I need to know it.
At least to make a move, like chaeyoung said.

When I about to ask her

"Lisa!
Look ! Let's go there."
She squeal exitedly and point at somewhere behind me

When I follow where she's pointing I saw her already on her way heading to the aquarium sign board which is on the other side of the road.

I chuckle a little bit.
That's why I can't unlove her no matter how hurt I was.

She's just too perfect to just unlove or forget.
Even if I can't have her, I won't mind looking her from a far.

but while I was smiling watching her, I heard a loud beep.
I follow the sound quickly .
I'm having a bad feeling about this.

Then I saw a delivery motorbike losing its balance and run in the direction of Jennie

When I look at Jennie,she is freezing at her spot looking at the motorbike

"Jennie!!!!"
I shout and run to her..

*Beep beep beep!!!!!!!!*

but I'm too late..

When I heard a loud crushing sound ,my pace stop and
I closed my eyes tightly

I can hear my heart beating so hard
I close my eyes at the violent sound.

When I open my eyes,

there is a motorbike lying on the road

and a man who's wearing a helmet
whining in pain
but when I look around,

I found Jennie on the platform

unconscious.

My heart is beating so fast
My whole body is shaking.

I'm just letting my tears pour down
Without uttering a word

Her forehead is bleeding.

I run to her like a fool

"Jen-Jennie.!!??
Wake-wake up...!!"

I cup her face and shake her a little
I don't know what to do..
I can't focus on anything.
Call me a fool cause  I...I am.

"J-Jennie!!!!
Don't leave me..."
I cup her face and hug her tightly
