Heaven bound

Part 2

Law wouldn't let you do most things on your own, the near death experience scared him more than he would like to admit.  Just knowing that you were almost gone sent him into overdrive, the nights that he had to leave though for work left you cold and almost empty, of course you knew he would come back, it was silly but it felt like you were missing someone else that in  the time that you were dead you were with someone who loved you more than you did yourself. It left you confused and Angry of course you couldn't talk to law about it but you felt as if you were missing a life one that you had way before law.

"(Y/n)?....."

"(Y/n)"

"Are you alright? Can you hear me? I knew I should have called in today also. It was stupid thinking that you would be alright after everything."

Blinking in shock you're glazed eyes finally snapped into focus watching as the blurry figure of law came into view. Slightly tracing the tattooed skin your brows pinched together it was like a blurry movie of angels and demons that  played out in your head, one that you were apart of  and someone close to you, one of the Demons.....But who? Who was it and was this all in your head? Yes it had to be everyone knew that those were just tales spun for hundreds of years to keep people from getting out of line.

"Oh Law? When did you get here?" How long had you been tracing his tattoos? How long had he been looking at you with worry in his eyes and his heart hammering in his chest?

"Are you alright? I came home and you were crying. I couldn't snap you out of it did....did someone hurt you while I was gone?"

The question suffocated the air why would he think someone came in to your guy's house to hurt you?

"No...no I'm fine; at least I think I am? I just spaced out for a little bit I'm sorry for worrying you."

Inhaling, your eyes looked at the time he would have to go back to work and leave you alone once again. Only for you to figure out the situation going on in your head, trying to work past what was fact and what was simply fiction.

" I think I'll go out for a walk, perhaps I can get some coffee for the both of us while at it?"

The look you got almost screamed I don't want you to walk anywhere but with the promise of coffee he reluctantly agreed. Looking at the time he quickly placed a kiss on your forehead before heading out and leaving you on your own with just you're mind once again. Grabbing your coat you stepped out side a chill went through your body, quickly walking down the street and past a alleyway you quickly backed up hearing a whine; no You told not only you but your boyfriend that you wouldn't bring in anymore stays...but how could you say no to the little Gray puppy that was now pawing at you're leg? Picking him up you searched for a collar underneath the dark matted fur only to come up empty handed. Sure law might kill you once he got home but how could you say no to a fur child in need? Quickly turning around you bumped into someone causing you to fall on your butt. Looking up you caught sight of blonde hair, dark eyes that looked shocked into your own and a scar on his right eye you almost wanted to touch it... No! He was a stranger, That would be awkward but if that were true why was he looking at you with tears in his eyes as if he knew you?

Holding out his hand for you to take he pulled you up finally averting his eyes mumbling a quick apology before he rushed off in the opposite direction causing you to shrug your shoulders walking back to your apartment to give the puppy currently licking your face a bath. Maybe law wouldn't know who he was? You would have to ask him once he was home.
