You looked at Lando with the tears in your eyes. You were standing in the middle of the paddock just after the race. The words he just said, kept repeating in your head. "I'm breaking up with you".

'Please don't do this,' you begged Lando as the tears streamed down your face. 'Please don't do this to me.'

'I'm sorry, Y/N. I just don't love you anymore.' Lando turned around and walked away.

You felt your knees give out under you and you crashed to the floor as the tears streamed down your face. Your heard was broken. How could he do this? Yesterday everything was perfect, and now he broke up with you? 'Don't leave me,' you cried, even though he was already gone. 'Please don't leave me.'

You woke up with the tears streaming down your face. You looked next to you and saw that the bed was empty. Did it really happen? The tears streamed down your face, even more, when you felt how cold the bed was. Lando didn't go to the bathroom. It felt like he hadn't been there all night. You quietly got out of the bed and made your way to the living room and kitchen, where there was no sign of Lando. You made your way to the gaming room. You quietly knocked on the door before you opened it. There he was, in his chair like nothing happened.

Lando turned around as soon as he noticed that the door was open. He looked surprised when he saw you. 'Did I wake you up?' he asked.

'No, not all. Just wanted to check of you were still here,' you mumbled and leaned against the doorframe for a moment.

Lando frowned. Something seemed off about you.

'I'm going back to bed,' you mumbled and were ready to close the door. You quickly made your way back to the bedroom and laid down, where the tears streamed down your face again as the feeling of the dream came back to you. It felt so real as if he did break up with you. It felt like he took your heart out of your body and left with it. With your hand, you grabbed your hair in frustration. You didn't want to cry about this. It was just a dream, but why would it make you so sad?

You didn't hear Lando come one. You noticed him when the place next to you dents. Your head shot up.

Lando put on the little light on his nightstand, and he looked at you with sadness in his eyes. 'What happened?' he quietly asked.

You shook your head. 'It's just a stupid dream,' you sniffed and wiped away the tears from your face.

'Dreams aren't stupid. Tell me what it was about.'

You looked up at the ceiling. 'You broke up with me, and it felt so real. It was like you ripped out my heart and took it with you. It felt like there was a hole in my chest. Like... a part of me was missing,' you quietly told him.

Lando was silent for a moment. He didn't know what to say. The fact that a dream could have this effect on you was something he had never seen before. So he said nothing. He laid down on the bed and pulled you closer to him. He started stroking your hair. 'I would never hurt you like that,' he then said.

'I know, and I know don't why I'm crying, but it felt so real.'

'I'm sorry,' he mumbled. 'But I love you and I will for a very long time.' He kissed the top of your head.

'I love you too,' you said. Lando continued to stroke your hair until you fell back asleep.
