~~~
Heyyyyyyy
So um I'm writing this super early because I have a birthday party for a friend that could go three ways:
A) my parents let me go but I can't sleep over
B) my parents let me go and I sleep over
C) my parents don't let me go at all
So in case I end up sleeping over, I wanted to make sure I had a chapter ready for you guys ahead of time!
If I publish it early, it'll be because I'm sleeping over.
Edit: hi sorry about the wait, I got to stay longer than I thought!!
Get in a comfortable position.
You in it? Good!
Make sure to cuddle up with some blankets or a sweater or something!
Relax your shoulders.
Imagine all the muscles in them are loosening.
Now, relax your arms.
Release the tension in them as much as you can.
Next, your legs.
Imagine a cool sensation running down through them, relaxing them.
Lastly, your neck.
Let it fall into a comfortable position, maybe tilted to one side or laying back on a pillow?
Listen to your breathes.
In
Out
In
Out
Feel the movement you body makes as you breath
How your chest rises and falls ever so slightly with each inhale and exhale
It's steady, it's constant.
Now, listen.
What can you hear around you?
Silence yes, but we're never in complete silence.
Maybe there's a faint ticking of a clock?
Maybe there's a slight hum of a fan?
Maybe you can hear electricity running through the walls?
Maybe you can hear the dishwasher start up?
Maybe birds outside the window?
Maybe the whoosh of cars driving past?
Focus on those soft noises, the noises you never really get to hear unless it's as quiet as it is now.
Now, feel.
What are you touching?
Maybe it's your sheets?
Maybe it's your clothes?
Maybe a blanket?
Maybe carpet?
Focus on the sensation, on what you're feeling underneath or on or around you.
You normally don't focus on this, so take the time to feel how soft everything is.
Focus on the peace.
Feel your breath.
Hear what you can in the quiet.
It's beautiful.
Stay safe kiddos and don't forget to drink water!
Love you all <3<3<3<3
