el was sitting patiently on the bench waiting for mike to come. as she finally laid eyes on him.
mike smirked, walking up towards her. el suddenly squealed running up to him and jumped on him, "i missed you a lot" she let out a small giggle. mike chuckled. there was barely anyone at the park, since everyone was still in quarantine and doing their own shit. the kids were mostly studying on zoom, and the adults were simply just doing nothing at home.
but el & mike were allowed to go out, since mike is the creator of the cure. he was allowed to go out anytime, anywhere.
"so, what do you wanna do?" she asked, as mike put her down. he simply thought about what he was originally planning what to do with her. than thought
i kinda want it to be wholesome

"let's go take a walk shall we?" he smiled at her. el smiled back, she expecting something different, but i guess walkings ok.

they were both walking besides the lake, it was really cold. since it was close to winter in hawkins. mike and el were in their sweaters, looking out at the lake, holding hands and occasionally kissing each other on the cheek.

"stop! you're so dirty, gawd" mike lightly tapped her shoulder, as his almost-to-be girlfriend made a dirty joke. "what?? i thought you were just as dirty as me" she pouted.
"no el, not as dirty as you. no one can be as dirty as you, i think?" he giggled, el giggled back at him, "pfft, you think?" she let out an ugly laugh. "you're real dirty, you know that mike? but you always deny it"
"tell me? how have i ever been dirty?" he raised a brow. "ah, many times" she smirked at him, mike's brow raised down, leaving a grin on his face, as his eyes trailed over to the lake.
"save it for later, let's just enjoy this beautiful view for one, eh?" he gestured to the view besides them. the sun's reflection dived across the crystal clear water, making it a beautiful reflection for them both to enjoy and smile at
"gosh it's so beautiful, and wonderful" she said in a sarcastic tone. "yeah, it really is" el, as soon to realized he didn't even care what she was trying to say, or what kind tone of voice she was using.
he was mesmerized by the beautiful colors of the nature washing up in his perspective. el waited for his admiring to be done.
"you done admiring the lake & ignoring your soon to be girlfriend?" el asked crossing her arms as she giggled. "not quite" as he sat on the bench, out looking the beautiful scenery he was currently admiring.
"okay than. what do you want me to look like a lake?" she teased. mike smirked, giving out a noise that only he could hear. "i mean, do you want to be wet?" his gaze trailed now to her.
"i- mike! i never even said anything close to that! you just proved yourself, that you are dirtier than me" she chuckled, sitting down next to him. "what a perfect match than" he put his arm over her, not a slight bit touching her, but it was rested on the top of the bench.
"hm?" she hummed, expecting him to repeat what he just said. "it's a perfect match than. dirty & dirty" he was heavily smirking down, looking down at her, once now and then.
"that's a lot of dirty" she laughed, "mhm"
they both laughed for a good 5 minutes until el realized she had to go back home, since her dad ordered pizza, and also, she did want to introduce him to her dad.. let's see how that goes eh?
