"Hey, it's okay. It was your day. You deserved to have fun though and don't worry about me. It was so obvious for you to misunderstand." Jungkook replied instantly, comforting him with his words and softly placing his hand on top of Taehyung's over the table.

"Not just this Jungkook. Like I seriously am very grateful to you. The present was like… ah I'm lacking in words to describe. I always wished to have one and you brought me one, it was so special." Taehyung stated joyfully, rubbing his thumb against Jungkook's palm.

"Oh really?"

"Yes, it was so pretty but expensive too. You didn't have too…"

"Hey, c'mon, if it made you happy then I think the price is worth it." Jungkook's words made Taehyung smile constantly, his eyes only reflecting back the joy.

"But still…"

"It's okay." Jungkook reassured, patting his hand one more time before pulling away.

Taehyung smiled at Jungkook, wanting to get lost in those intoxicating eyes. Jungkook raised his eyebrows playfully and Taehyung looked away shyly, biting his bottom lip, he never shared but holding hands had always been his favourite thing to do.

"And also, thank you so much for the morning. You really helped me Jungkook. If you wouldn't be there, I might have a panic attack."

"You literally were having one…"

"Yeah I know but thanks to you for comforting me. I'm claustrophobic so it was tough for me and I'm glad you helped me again. You seriously may seem naughty but sometimes you're so responsible and sincere, and I appreciate it." Taehyung complimented, making Jungkook flip his hair in confidence.

"Thanks for acknowledging, pretty neighbour. Well, these are just two sides of me, you probably wanna see more." Jungkook joked, wiggling his eyebrows and making Taehyung laugh.

"Here it comes… you will always remain like this?"

"You like it so why not?"

Taehyung smiled while shaking his head.

"You're seriously unbelievable."

"I know."

The two of them giggled more, eating leisurely while talking of almost everything possible and Jungkook never failed in making him smile so hard.

Taehyung never thought he would actually end up on the table, having dinner at his place with the guy who bumped his precious Lily.

Time flew by nicely and there they were ready to begin something new.

"Man you didn't even compliment my lasagna, wasn't it good?" Taehyung asked when Jungkook stuffed his mouth with his last bite.

"Oh damn, it was so tasty that I almost forgot to compliment it. It was heavenly delicious like a pro chef's kitchen."

"Liar, how can it taste like pro chef's." Taehyung pouted.

"Maybe you added a special ingredient in it to make it taste so good."

"What?"

"Your love." Jungkook softly held Taehyung's hand, leaving a gentle kiss on that, doing everything that only fluttered Taehyung's heart more and more.

"You are cheesier than this lasagna." Taehyung laughed, pulling his hand back.

"Seriously, it was amazing."

And then the oven ringed again.

"Uh, cake is ready too. Let me take it out and let it cool for a while. I bet it's gonna taste amazing with a little bit of wine." Taehyung said, winking at Jungkook.
