"Look around. There are no enemies here. Just good, old-fashioned rivalry." -Bob Wells
I NEVER THOUGHT the day would come where I actually gave a damn about how I look.
For the past fifteen minutes, I've been turning around in all kinds of angles to view myself in the bathroom mirror. It felt totally unlike me, but the excuse I kept telling myself was that we were going to a restaurant.
Seriously, though. It's just a pizzeria, I reminded myself.
For some reason, my expectations are always set too high. The first thing that pops into my head when I hear the word 'restaurant' is an extravagant building full of beautiful chandeliers, people dressed in tuxes and dresses, swan napkins around each-
All of a sudden, I hear the bathroom door close harshly, interrupting my thoughts.
The sudden loud sound makes me wince, jumping to turn around at whoever idiot just closed it like that. "Nice dress, Alissa."
"It is, isn't it?" Pfft, egomaniac. "It'll especially look good next to you, since you look like you just crawled out of a dumpster."
To hell with it, I thought as I marched towards her with my jaw clenched. Her eyes widened the size of saucers, and she ran outside the bathroom door.
"Elliot! What-? Help!" She jumped on the twins' bed, ruining how perfectly made it is. I straddled her and pinned both her hands down above her head.
The sliding door opened, and both of our heads snapped towards it. Then Tyler, Terrence, and Aaron enter the room, cautious because of all her yelling, "What are you doing, Willa?" asked Tyler.
"She tried to attack me! I didn't even do anything, she's just jealous-"
I scoffed. "Jealous? I didn't know if it was possible, but over all these years, your head somehow managed to get even bigger."
"Something else is going to get bigger after I-"
"Get off of Melissa. What are you trying to do, mug her?" Aaron interrupted. Okay, I admit, I was going to explain what happened, until Terrence whispered something to him. He furrowed his brows and shrugged. "Alissa, are you okay?"
"That bitch tried to murder me!" My jaw dropped at her accusation.
"I did not." They all tilted their heads, giving me doubtful looks. "Maybe..." I admitted. "Wouldn't be so bad if I did, anyway."
"Come on, it's time for us to go. And there's someone I'd like you to meet." said Elliot, gesturing his hands towards the living room door. They all left the suite one by one, and just as I was about to step outside, Alissa put her arm in front of me.
I gave her a look that you would expect someone to give to a full retard. "Hold it," she commanded calmly, sighing as if she repeated herself many times.
"I know a lot of people like you. There was that Megan chick, and I think another called Sunny or something. Oh, and there's a Stephanie-"
"What are you even talking about?" I asked her, confused.
"All the girls that were after Aaron," she said in a tone that said 'duh'.
I scoffed. "Girls are after Aaron? Aaron Harrison?"
"Do you need to get your eyes checked? Obviously some girls are after him." She put both of her hands on her waist. "Don't tell me you weren't just a teensy bit amazed by the first time you saw him."
