Ace pov

"I checked around the area of the playground, a few local kids were hanging around till a black van pulled into the parking lot. Whoever was inside waited till the right moment because once everyone was distracted they made their move." Hacks says as we all sat around the table in church. "But what got me confused is they had the Red Jokers logo on the side of the van."

"I thought we got rid of the Red Jokers?" Jokers asked from next to me.

"I guess not" Tor sighs "did you find their hideout or clubhouse?" 

Hacks pulled up a map on the TV from his laptop to show us "I followed the CCTV and then did some more digging, their clubhouse is 5 miles out from two towns over. A couple of hours drive" Hacks says as Tor nods his head.

"Did you find out any information about why they took Sasha's kid?" 

"Would it be because we killed Breaker and his men?" Snake said.

"Most likely," Hacks says as I banged my fists on the table. 

"I want them dead," I demanded.

"We will get your son back but we need to know where they took him" 

"Dude your son?" Joker asks me, giving him a nod "well damn" slapping me on the shoulder. “Let’s bring this little hell-raiser back to his parent’s boys,” each guy around the table nodded their heads. I was glad that my brothers in this room stood behind me in getting my kid back, even though I haven’t been a father I could see how much he meant to Sasha. If making her happy and Dakota safe then I would do anything, even if I had to die by doing it.

While Tor went on with other business for the club Hacks was typing at his laptop and I couldn’t pay attention to what was being said in the room but not even 5 minutes later Hacks’ computer started to beep like crazy. “We have them, the Red Jokers are pulling into their compound, they have Dakota,” he says as everyone looks at him in confusion. “Their tech guy isn’t that good with keeping up to date with the latest shit. So I had a little help with Felix and he got me into their system.” 

“Right we move tonight, we hit them when they least expect it,” Tor says “Get ready boys we ride out by midnight”  Tor slams the gavel down before we all move out of the room. I headed out following Joker and Gunner to sort out what we needed for the firepower.

Sasha POV

As soon as my head hit that pillow I was gone.

“Sash.. wake up babe” I heard someone say as they shook me awake, all I wanted was to be left alone in my peaceful sleep. “Sasha..” I heard them again but this time I had opened my eyes to see who it was waking me up. Ace was kneeling beside the bed, all dressed in black I frowned as I sat up.

“What’s going on?” I asked him as he pushed my hair out of my face.

“We have a lead on something, so we are going to check it out” 

“Okay good, let me freshen up and I will come with you,” I said trying to get off the bed but he stops me.

“No babe you are going to stay here with the girls, it is dangerous.”

“But Ace..”

“But nothing Sash you are staying here where the prospects are looking after everyone, I mean it, stay inside the clubhouse,” he says standing up, grabbing a box from under his bed. Looking around I only just realized he had placed me in his dorm room.

“How long was I asleep?” 

“All-day, it's midnight” I stared at him in shock before running a hand over my face. “Here I want you to be armed while I am not here” 

“Why? Do you think something will happen?” I asked him as he handed me a Desert Eagle pistol with some ammo for it, I saw something flash in his eyes telling me he wasn’t sure. 

“I just want you to be safe” he strokes my cheek before pulling out another pistol putting it in the thigh holder he had strapped to his leg as well as a shotgun. I bite my lip as I watch him pull everything he needs out of the box, I couldn’t help but worry about him and the guy’s safety. If anything happens to them it would be my fault.

Ace places the box back under his bed and stands up grabbing his beanie instead of his hat from the dresser as I stand up tucking the gun he handed me in the back of my jeans pulling my shirt over it. I looked up at him, I couldn’t help but feel all those feelings I had for the man standing in front of me but I knew Ace wouldn’t like me that way… So I just bit my lip and looked away, I couldn’t help but tear up. 

But I felt the warmth of his fingers lift my chin to face him “I will do everything I can to bring him back to you” he says looking into his eyes I knew he meant it. 

“I’m sorry I kept him from you, I just.. I was so scared... And now im, even more, scared something has happened to him. Please bring our son back” I let the tears fall but Ace catches them with his thumb when he strokes my cheek. 

“When we are done and home, you, me and Dakota will sit down and talk okay?” I nod my head okay, I follow him out to the main area of the clubhouse as I saw the guys rush around preparing everything while the girls stood off to the side. As the guys were ready to leave, the old ladies told each of their old men goodbye and to ride safely but as I stood there watching Ace pull on his helmet I couldn’t help myself sigh. 

“You know he's your old man right?" I looked to see Juliet standing next to me as I continued to watch him when he looked over at me my stomach did a little jump before he winked at me, it was like he knew something. So I did something, I walked straight up to him grabbed him by the face and kissed him hard, it only took a second for him to be shocked and then he returned to heated kiss.

"Ride safe," I tell him before I back away leaving him stunned.
