"Hello. It's me"

Jannah heard the voice she had been hearing for days say by her door and just like always she ignored it still not raising her head from her pillow.

"I was wondering if after these days you'd like to meet"

The corners of her lip tilt up slightly as she shook her head and covered her face with her quilt hoping he'll stop. Though this has been happening everyday for the past five days so deep down she knows he won't stop till he gets to the end.

"To go over, everything"

She still kept quiet pretending as if she isn't hearing him though they both know she is.

"They say time supposed to heal you, but you ain't done much healing"

She groaned silently face palming herself. Doesn't he get that she just wants to be alone?

"Hello. Can you hear me?" he said in a way that sounded like hymn which is way off key from the real song but the guy sang as if he's correct. "I'm just tired of house dreaming about who we used to be when we were younger, and free. I've forgotten how it felt before you shut me out last week. There's such a difference, between us and a million miles"

"Oh God" she muttered from the lyrics he changed and knowing what's going to come next. She sat up on her bed and waited for the inevitable.

"HELLO FROM THE OTHER SIDE!!!"

"My God" she muttered wincing slightly at how loud he is. She stood up and strutted towards the door to stop him before he damages her eardrums.

"I MUST'VE KNOCKED A THOUSAND TIMES!!"

"Stop!" she opened the door to see Kamal singing his heart out with his arm raised as he shouts, or in his words, 'sing'.

"To tell you I'm sorry"

"Enough please!" she held out her hand gesturing for him to stop while trying to hide the smile on her face.

Now what will a normal person do in this situation? Probably to wait for her to invite him inside right? Well, Kamal isn't normal as he just side stepped her and walked in leaving her gaping by the door. She turned around and scoffed, "Well come in please" she stated sarcastically.

"Why thank you" he replied not turning to look at her. He sat on her bed stretching his legs on it while he leaned on the headboard with his hands folded behind.

She rolled her eyes and closed the door before walking towards the bed too. She pushed his legs out of the way and sat whilst glaring at him, "What was that?"

"What was what?" he asked closing his eyes after playfully glowering at her.

"What were you doing outside by the door?"

"Singing, duh!"

"You call that singing?" she laughed so much that she clutched her belly, "Dude you're the worst singer of all time" that wasn't exactly true. The guy has a good voice frankly speaking but she has to say that to tease him a bit.

He hummed not believing her, "That's what you said" he murmured, "Since it finally got you open the door then it must be good. I think my lyrics moved you"

"Adele will kill you for that. What you did is called song abuse" she said making him sit up.

He leaned towards her slightly, "Sweetheart, she'll thank me for making her song so much better"

She rolled her eyes but didn't say anything about it. She waited for him to ask her how is she and how she's been holding up. As much as she hates those questions she knew he was going to ask her but what she didn't know is that Kamal knows asking her that will only dampen her mood and he's not here to do that; he's here to cheer her up.
