Chapter 1~

Claires POV

Beep! Beep ! Beep!

I reach over and slam my hands forcefully on my annoying alarm clock interrupting my precious slumber.

I remove my warm blanket and make my way to my bathroom and do my daily routine, After I get out the shower I get dress and start my makeup.

I put on my eyeliner and mascara then looked myself over, My pale skin going perfect with my normal green eyes and jet black hair. Not bothering to do my hair I run a brush through it and head down stairs to eat.

I got downstairs and headed for the kitchen to see my mom placing bacon on a plate full of eggs waffles strawberries and toast with orange juice. "Morning mom" I said as I took the plate and juice then sat down.

"Morning baby you did finish that project Mr. Castillio wanted right?" I nodded. She smiled and went back to making a plate..a huge one bigger than mines.

I smiled as I knew who it was for." See mom I'm not the only one that gets up late" she shook her head. "I see that...JARED BREAKFAST IS READY GET IT WHILE ITS HOT!" She screamed up at my dad.

I heard feet running towards the kitchen. My dad came in panting like a mad man and asked " So whats for breakfast?" I shook my head and smiled.

"So today I have to do this story board at work..." I didn't feel like listening about his boring job.so while I have the time let me introduce myself and family.

We are the Mondragons, head of the house and pack is my father Jared, the Luna and my personal chef is my mother Emily. My brother Alex died in a rogue attack a few years back so its just the three of us now.

" Bye mom bye dad! " I said as I was putting my shoes on. " Pal you know the rules!" I groaned. "Sorry dad I just forgot today!" I yelled back. He walked out the kitchen as I stood up with my mom right behind him.

"Ok lets do it the right way then pal you know how we get about this type of stuff" I nodded. "I will see you guys later..and I love you" I said feeling happy to see my mom and dad smile at me.

"We love you to now go your gonna be late" my mom said they hugged me and I left to get in my car and head to school.

Most people say school is like a prison or 'omg school is like hell!' Well for me its just like home. And besides this school is awesome!

There is no bullying or being laughed at for wanting to be different or yourself. Every one is friends with everyone and we make sure that the experience at school is the best.

I pulled up to the school and got out my car to find my two best friends. I went to our usual spot behind the gym in the shed to see if they were there.

And my lucky guess was right. "Oh my god! Lets kill the PG 13 please?" I said covering my eyes so I wouldn't see them basically dry humping each other "Get over it sister its gonna happen to you sooner or later" Katy said while she fixed her shirt. Ok so lets introduce my friends. First there is Katy 18 tan with amazing blond hair! Brown eyes that make boys go bowing at her feet.

Then there is mark your typical emo boy. He has jet black hair like mines with pretty even skin not to pale not to tan. Grey eyes with blue flecks in them you know.

Yes..they are mates and trust me I didnt even expect this since katy is always going for the jocks not the quiet less spoken ones. Anyways it gets pretty weird for me especially when she went through heat in the middle of p.e and let me tell you he could smell her from the science lab!

He took her someplace away from un-mated wolves and went to do only god knows what. And there really isnt more to tell.

"Katy!" Mark said in a whisper. She looked up from her nails."what mark!" She said looking clueless."you mentioned it..again" she gasped.

"Oh my gosh Claire I'm so sorry please forgive me!" She was literally having a panick attack.

"Dude its ok lets just get to class before we are late" we hugged and went out seperate ways. If your wondering what she is talking about then let me tell you.

See I found my mate at my 17th birthday party. He was the most godly thing I've ever seen. Those hypnotic clear blue eyes and brown locks I could run my hands through all day long.

Amazing body like models have but better. Pink lips that make my mouth water when I think of them. His 6'2 frame against my chubby 5'3 went perfectly.

Except he already has a girlfriend and chose her over his own mate. He still tries to contact me to see how im doing but I ignore his calls and when I see him I just keep looking straight.

I was pretty wrecked when he rejected me on my friggin birthday. I mean who wouldnt be if their mate rejected them in front of the whole pack and the visiting silver moon pack.

But yeah life goes on you know just gotta make it through some tough things you run into.

I stopped and opened the door to myhomeroom and sat in my normal seat in the back by the window. Homeroom is only 4 minutes so we just take role and wait for the bell.

My schedule looks a lottle like this

Homeroom

1st period: Physical education

2nd period: science

3rd period : history

4th period : English

5th period : lunch

6th period : Avid

7th period : Math core

8th period : math support

Dont laugh at me I am terrible at math.

The bell rang and I headed to first period...P.E ugh! Im so glad coach gave us a break today. I sit alone on the field under a tree thinking about things. My friends aren't in any of my classes so I just to take 45 minutes by my self.

Finally lunch has arrived and I am srarving. I get in line and pile any food on my plate that smells amazing and proceed to walk over to my table with my friends and sit down.

We start laughing and eating talking about crap we want to do with our lives. Everything perfectly fine Until my favorite period was ruined when the wrong words slipped out of katys mouth causing me to almost involuntarily turn around.

"Uh oh look who is makong his way over to us..." she trailed off seeing my already panicked expression. I didn't have to look back because I could smell him..but my wolf wanted other wise so I turned. And sure enough he was headed right this way with that stupid smirk that made my knees weak.

Hope nothing goes wrong.
