The room was beautiful, the flowers fresh, perfumed. There was a view of the mountains and outside the garden was perfection. The handsome young man eased himself into the soft chair while the nurse put on his favorite music. He read his dark novels occasionally screaming or clutching to the male beside him. His husband sat at his side, quietly holding his hand. The nurse sat at his side. His pale delicate lips opening.

"Honey would you like to go out for a walk? You really need to stop reading those novels or you might really get a heart attack from all the scares."

His straight strands of luscious locks were midnight black and his eyes were dark brown, framed by graceful brows. He skin was like supple and smooth. He had prominent cheekbones and a well-defined chin and nose that seemed to be carved from jade of the finest quality.

Unlike the sick male who had lean yet ripped muscle. He could be compared to a goddess, a celestial who had came down to earth.

The male looked out at the breath-taking scenery and nodded.

"I don't want to be stuck here until I die. Fresh air ought to do me some good."

The gorgeous male nodded, but he couldn't speak. It was all he could do to hold back his tears. 15 years of young love and he would leave this scented room alone. But his pain was immense and the doctors could promise nothing but a day to live. The handsome clasped his arm, a smile adorning his handsome features. It was like a ray of sunshine and he was about to start an exciting adventure, not end one.

"I love you now more than I ever did, darling, and I'll be waiting for you. You know that right?" The handsome male nodded as he kissed his lover's cheek.

"But unfortunately, I can't stay with you for long in this lifetime."

The gorgeous male couldn't help but weep tears of sorrow and anguish.

He refused to look away, even as his lips trembled and his shoulders heaved with emotion, unwilling to back down.

His dark lashes brimmed heavy with tears; his hands clenched into shaking fists, in a desperate battle against the grief.

A lone tear traced down his cheek, and just like that, the floodgates opened.

He wept, tears streaming from his deep obsidian eyes, loud, heaving sobs tearing from his throat, and still he did not look away.

Not until the sobs drove him to his knees did his determined gaze fall.

"I will find you no matter where you are."

The male nodded, a melodious breathy chuckle leaving his plump lips.

"I look forward to it."

The gorgeous and beautiful male grabbed his sick husband by the waist gently and place his hand upon his own. The two of them walking out into the setting sun.

----------------------

I measure the morning by the rising sun and the dew-laden grass. When the sun still rises it sends golden beams to illuminate forest and hill. For all the while there is that sheen, more pure than a high-gloss photograph, there is still time to walk, listen to the birdsong and breathe deeply. For when the grass is greener, drinking in the brilliant rays, I will be homeward bound.

White upon the new day's grass, shining in those first rays of sun, the dew brings a brightness that is warming somehow. Already there are green footprints making a path before us, it was an elderly couple.

I ambled through the narrow lane between several fleets of bungalows and chalets on either side cemented with an uneven stretch of glossy, varnished cobblestones. This is where is all began....
