it was the second day, and everyone was already ready for the waterfalls. el and max were talking about their weird dreams, whilst the boys (and robin) were just casually hanging together.
the bus finally made its way and arrived at their hotel, the girls went first, since of course it's was always ladies first. and the boys got on after them.
el, max, and robin sat together in the middle seats (the bus was huge btw) there were 3 seats in the middle so it was perfect for the three of them.
"so el" max looked at el's pondering face "hello?" she tapped her shoulder, making el wake up from her thoughts. "uh- yeah?" she answered quickly
"alright so! tell me about your love life!" max requested, interested in what was going on in her life. el just sighed, pursing her lips. taking a deep breath like she was about to say something surprising
"i.. ive never had a boyfriend—" "bullshit!" max bit, el jerked her head back, a lil shocked of max's tone of speaking. "i-i'm sorry i didn't mean to be rude, uh.. go ahead" she apologized for her unexpected tone
"well.. i have had some.. but i've never been in a real relationship? i don't know, max i'm not good with these kinds of things" she scratched the back on her neck, waiting for max's response
"well, looks like you and mike have something going on! why don't you try and—" "no! max.. were just frineds.. i don't like him in that way.. hes a good friend" she ended her sentence with an awkward grin
max still didn't believe her "nah, you and mike definitely have something going on.. we know the way he looks at you, like you're some kind of painting in the museum, and he's just admiring you, not even giving attention to anything else, but you" she said.
el just shook her head "he doesn't like me! and.. we'd never work out anyways."
"what made you think that?" robin came in, taking off her air pods. el shook her head.
"no.. i'm not.. can we not talk about mike?" she really didn't want to talk about him right now. not after what happened last night.. it was just plain embarrassment
"oh, yup definitely something going on, but okay el" max went back on her phone.
el sighed, looking over to mike's seat which was 2 seats down from her, down to the side though. she looked at his curly hair, his beautiful curls shining, due to the sun coming from a part of the roof of the bus. she just admired it so much. she loved curls..
especially his
she.. really did like mike. but she just knew it'd never work. mike probably did like her back,, cause' of the thing that happened back on that day. she didn't think of it too much anymore. it was just another blow job. so what?
she slowly drifted to a deep sleep, she couldn't think of anything else but him. even though she tried not to
"m-mike" el breathed out. mike looked at her dazed face below him, he gave her a smile, than went down to kiss her forehead.
el sobbed quietly, wrapping her small arms around his waists, hugging him tightly, mike wrapped his arms around her waists. bringing her up for a cuddle.
"i love you" el breathed out.
mike's face turned into pure horror, he dropped her, as she fell into the void of no where.
"mike!!" she yelled out,, there was no answer, she was scared. she saw something in the distance, it was running up to her, she decided to run the opposite way. it was hard for her to run for some reasons.
she looked back, seeing that there was no one in her sight, she turned back to the front, seeing the thing in front of her. she screamed loudly.
"EL!" someone yelled. "ELEVEN!"
"ELEVEN!!" they yelled again.
"ELEVEN!!" the voice woke her up all in sudden. she screamed again.
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" she accidentally screamed in mike's face. el was panting, she couldn't think about anything. she was stuck.
than realized she did something wrong
"i'm sorry mike.. i had a nightmare"
mike nodded, and smiled. "it's okay el.. are you okay?" he asked her, lending a hand, since they were already at the waterfalls, they were all outside, waiting for her again
el smiled and went to place her hand on top of his. he pulled her up, reeling her in close to him. "alright, let's go shall we.. princess?" he smirked, el nodded yes.
her eyes widened at the word 'princess' was he playing with her? or was he just a massive flirt? she was still pissed about yesterday
but besides that, el liked the way he gave her nicknames
they both leave the bus. still holding hands, el was still calming down from the night mare, lucas looked at el, up and down.. rudely, which made max step on his toe.
"ouch!"
"great, now we have to walk for 3km" steve rolled his eyes. "great! exercise time!" dustin chuckled. and went first.

they were all at the waterfall now. it was quiet, there was barely any tourist, due to corona of course.. but it was so beautiful.
el and max were talking a billion pictures, while robin and steve were already under the waterfall. dustin brought his camera, and started taking photos of the beautiful scenery.
mike just sat there on the log, admiring el.
honestly, yes mike did like her a lot. so much. he wanted something going on between them. but.. he couldn't, because of aska.. as much as he disliked her, he still couldn't leave her like that. and of course there was still love towards her.. but deep deep down inside.
he couldn't make up his mind.
he knew el wanted sex, but he wasn't ready to have anything like that with her. el was craving for it so much.
and he didn't know that.
