"Collleeeeeeeeeeee," Kai whines, walking into their room.
Cole, who was putting a shirt on, looks over.
"Hey, you okay?" Cole puts the shirt on the bed.
Kai doesn't answer and grabs the shirt off the bed, putting it on over his own. Cole's heart melts at the sight.
"Awwww, you're so cute."
Kai blushes and climbs onto the bed. Cole raises an eyebrow.
"What are you doing?"
"Come here and find out."
Cole chuckles and slowly walks towards the bed. Kai stands up and taps his foot impatiently. Cole eventually arrives at the edge of the bed.
"Okay I'm here."
Kai wraps his arms around Cole's neck and kisses him. Cole wraps his arms around Kai's waist and kisses back. Kai deepens the kiss and leans against Cole. Cole smiles into the kiss. Kai slowly and carefully wraps one of his legs around Cole's waist. Cole moves his hands up to the back of Kai's legs. Kai then wraps his other leg around Cole's waist so he's sat on Cole's hips. Cole holds him tightly.
"You're just like a koala," Cole murmurs when they pull away.
"A what?"
"A koala, they're adorable and they cling to things that they love, which are trees."
"So...I'm like a koala?"
"Yes."
"So...that means, you're my tree."
Cole chuckles and nods. Kai pulls Cole closer and kisses him again. Cole kisses back and tightens his grip.
"You're shirtless?!" Kai asks when they pull away.
"Yep, you stole my shirt before I could put it on."
*** "I love you," Kai says when they pull away.
"I love you too...koala."
"You call me koala, but I don't even know what they look like."
"They have floofy fur, like your hair, and they're clingy, like you."
Kai blushes. "Can I see?"
Cole places Kai on the bed and grabs his phone. He scrolls through and shows Kai a picture.

"Awww. They're cute."
"Like you," Cole says before kissing Kai again.
