Chapter 23: Anna's Coronation

- Third POV -

A month later, everything was set up for Anna to take the crown and Elsa to take a step down. It's been two months since the destructive battle and everyone has moved on. Arendelle has fully recovered from the attack and now are patiently waiting for the latest Queen to be crowned. There was a large crowd that was on the other side of the bridge waiting for the festival to begin.

(Y/N) just finished visiting the grave of his former master and was already back from the mountain where he was laid. Some tears needed to be wiped off but in general, was ready for today and was happy that he was going to spend more time with Elsa after everything is over since she won't have to do her Queen duties anymore.

The servants were decorating the castle with lights, banners, flowers, everything to make the day perfect! Even lights were setting up for when everyone is still up late at night. But before this can begin, for some odd reason Anna and Kristoff haven't been seen since yesterday. So Elsa is slightly panicking when her and the love of her life hasn't found them around the castle.

Elsa: "Where are they? Everyone is almost done setting up and the cityfolk are waiting!"

Elsa starts mumbling to herself and was pacing around Anna's room in her dress that she wore during her coronation where she decided to wait for Anna. (Y/N) was also in the room in a basic black suit while sitting on the bed.

(Y/N): "I'm sure that Anna and Kristoff are fine. They must be running late from taking a walk or something."

As if on cue, the other couple come scrambling through the crowd and into Anna's room. They were both drenched in sweat and were breathing heavily as they both collapse onto the ground.

Elsa: "Where have you guys been?! Anna! You are being Queened in an hour!"

Anna: "Sorry. We were outside of Arendelle since yesterday and woke up not too long ago."

Kristoff: "Yeah. We wanted to talk about some stuff and ended up sleeping in the forest."

(Y/N) stood up and notices a hickey on Kristoff's neck and snickers. The other three people saw his reaction and looked confused, especially Kristoff who knew that he was laughing at him.

Kristoff: "What's so funny?"

(Y/N): "Well I was just thinking, does talking require lip-shaped bruises to occur on someone's neck?"

Elsa: "Wait what?" She takes a closer step to the kneeling couple. She sees what (Y/N) was talking about and crosses her arms with a smile. "That's an interesting thought (Y/N). Mind explaining you two?"

They both look at each other and back to their interrogators. Their faces go red and shrugged in response.

Later...

After the... interrogation, everyone was ready to begin. Kristoff was waiting in front of the crowd with (Y/N) behind him. In summary of the event before, Anna was extremely nervous for today and ran off with Kristoff in tail to calm her down.

(Y/N): "I don't think Elsa and I can be so daring Kristoff. In the forest? Really? Must've missed you when I was coming back."

Kristoff: "Hey! You two don't have to do it in the open! Elsa can make some sort of ice room or you can go fricken underwater and have an air bubble. We, normal people, have to make do!"

(Y/N): "Hey when do you think Anna will-"

Trumpets start blaring music and everyone began clapping as soon as Anna was visible from the tent that she was preparing in.
