Chapter 18: Elsa's Guardian

- Elsa's POV -

I try searching for (Y/N) as no one has seen him since the fall of the dam. I see scorch marks near the dam and that confuses me as I continue to look around. No sign as I continue to look. This worries me and I consider the worst.

Me: "Maybe he fell in?"

I fall to my knees and start crying. I just lost the love of my life and it was because of me again. I asked him to help me take down the dam and he lost his life doing it. The ground around me was slowly icing itself as my heart itself was too it felt like. I get up holding my arm as I mourn for (Y/N). I jump down and slide down my ice to the bottom of the waterfall to continue my search, trying desperately to not lose hope.

I find tattered clothing every once in a while which wasn't helping and then I found what probably made me lose all hope. The accessory on his sword that I gave (Y/N) that had his symbol. I clenched it in my hand as tears continued to fall down. I kept walking with the minimal of hope I had left down the stream.

I eventually crossed upon a body that appeared to be a man's. My spirits lifted and I rushed towards him. I flip him over onto his back and quickly jumped back at the discovery of who it was.

Me: "Dwayne...? What is he doing here?"

I tap his body with my foot and he doesn't move. For safety, I froze his limbs to the ground and kneeled down to check his heartbeat. After a minute I felt his heartbeat which scared me. I back away and the ice I had on him melted, the air around me suddenly got hotter. Dwayne gets up and starts coughing up water. He looks around and spots me a few feet away from him.

Dwayne: "Good morning my Queen. How's it hanging?"

Me: "Where's (Y/N)?"

Dwayne: "Who cares? He won't be bothering us anymore, we can have some fun if you know what I mean."

He gets up with his arms wide and I blast ice at him to stop him.

Me: "No! Stay away!"

Before the ice can make contact, it melts into water quickly, splashing him on the chest.

Dwayne: "Now that's unfortunate isn't it?"

I crawl back and eventually my back hits against a wall. Before he got close enough to touch me I get up and create a ice path to slide and escape from him quickly. I turn around and see him right behind me, ready to strike with some sort of fireball. I block it with my ice but it quickly melts on contact leaving me wide open.

He lands on top of me with his hand on my neck as I struggle to get him off and breath. I pound my hand on his arm and face to no avail as he just grunts it off.

Me: "Get off of me!"

Dwayne: "And why should I?"

Me: "GET OFF!"

I take the biggest deep breath in and blast him with the largest blast of icy wind as I can with my mouth. He tries to hold on to me but the frost on my body causes him to slip despite using his powers to counter. I try and keep the wind up but I had to get a gasp of air so I don't pass out. He lands in the water and I get up. I start running to safety to come up with a plan that could beat Dwayne because my ice powers won't be enough.

Later...

I arrive at Arendelle and straight towards the castle. Once I get inside I alerted the knights of Dwayne and ran around to find Master Shifu. I went to the dojo and I see him meditating inside and so I approach him.

Me: "Master Shifu? I need your help."

M. Shifu: "And what would that be my Queen?"

Me: "Dwayne..." I start tearing up trying so hard not to believe what I am about to say. "He killed (Y/N)..." I pause as my heart sank at the mention of him. My body suddenly gave out on me as I just sat there in pain. "He's coming here..."
