"Then tell me who is it" I said worriedly

"I think it's my ex.. Francis" She said while looking down

"What?! You had an ex and didn't even tell me!" I exclaimed

"There's nothing to tell anyways" She said

"Ugh this sucks. I'm going upstairs" I said giving up

I went upstairs and tucked myself to bed. 

It's already 2 am and she's still not here. I decided to go downstairs and I saw her sleeping on the couch. I kinda felt bad and didn't even let her explain.

I carried her upstairs to our bed and tucked her. I kissed her forehead then went to sleep

I hurried in taking a shower because I am already late for work. I got my keys, wallet and my laptop then went to work.

EMMA POV

I can't believe she got mad at me just because of my ex. Well I guess I should sleep on the couch, maybe giving her space would ease her anger..

I feel comfier when I woke up. After a few minutes I realized that I am in our room. She carried me here? I turned around and looked at the windows. I noticed a man's shadow. Could it be.. No no he's gone it can't be. 

I decided to make breakfast and brushed off what I saw earlier.. Maybe I'm just overthinking.. Or am I?

CHRISTINE POV

Since there's nothing much to do here I decided to go home early and surprise my fiance. I bought flowers and her favorite food. 

I opened the door and saw her staring at something outside of our window.

"Babe? Is everything okay?" I asked

"Huh? What? Y- yes" She uttered

"Babe you know you can tell me anything"  I assured her

"I think my ex is back.." She said nervously

"What do you want to do then?" I asked

"Please stay with me until I give birth" She said

"Okay I will don't worry" I said then she hugged me tight

"I love you okay?" I added

"I love you too babe" She replied

We talked while eating our lunch and talked about our future with our little peanut and decided that we would decorate the other room and make it our baby's nursery.

"Baby I'm curious.. Can you tell me your past with your ex. I'm really confused" I said

"Okay.." She replied

"We were together for about 2 years when I found out that he's been cheating on me.. When I confronted him he started hitting me and tying me up. Until one day he was caught by the police then I decided to leave and start a new life. That's when I met you." She said while tearing up

"Oh baby I'm sorry.. I promise you I won't ever hit nor cheat on you" I said

"You promise?" She asked

"Yes I do baby.. You and our little peanut deserve the best." I said while kissing her forehead

We were having a good time when suddenly loud banging on our door was heard

I came to check it but..
