As long as Regina was discussing with Vanessa, Emma had already payed a visit at Rodolfo's and Alessandro's former hotel room. She didn't have the skills of a profiler like Regina did but at least she was able to look around for any possible evidence.

When she first walked inside the room she frowned in confusion. Everything was surprisingly decorated nicely and neatly. The entire room looked like the couple never even entered the place. The pillows and sheets were carefully placed on the bed neatly, the remote controllers were placed next to each other onto the wooden desk in the middle of the living room and the floor looked like someone had recently cleaned up.

The cleaners were ordered to leave the room in the exact same way the couple left it back then. They weren't even allowed to mop the floor till Emma and Regina would get the chance to take a look inside.
Emma wondered around the room scanning the area carefully in order she wouldn't forget to check any spot.

It was weird... They couldn't be that neat! Everything was way too clean and decorated carefully back in place... She kneeled down looking under the coffee table searching for their phones and any kind of personal item but there was nothing except their clothes.

Theirs clothes wouldn't help the two agents that much. They might had their DNA on them but nothing else that could be useful. The blonde woman made sure to open every single suitcase and backpack but there was literally nothing important in there. Clothes, perfumes, toothbrushes, and shoes were inside every single box and backpack.

She huffed and shrugged her shoulders a little disappointed and placed her hands on her hips. She looked around preparing herself to leave and go tell Regina the news when she noticed a small door underneath the sink in the kitchen.

She approached the door and kneeled down curiously. How come she hadn't noticed that? She bit her lips annoyed as soon as she realized that the god damn door needed a key but she was the former savior... of course she had a solution.

She took off two Bobby pins from her hair and smiled evilly. Thankfully growing up on the streets helped her earn a couple of useful skills. She placed the first Bobby pin on the upper area inside the lock and pressed her fingers slightly on it. She then made room for the second one and slowly pushed the pin inside the tiny whole inside the lock. She moved her finger to direct the pin towards the lowest part of the lock and smiled triumphantly as soon as she heard the sound of a click and then opened the lock.

The lock fell down on the floor making an irritating sound and the door was now free to open. She pulled the tiny door and opened it widely. Her jaw dropped... her stomach turned. WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT? She might was a professional after so many years of dealing with crime scenes but this time it was different.

This one was brutal. She swallowed hard and held her nose in an effort to stop breathing the nasty smell. She could see the rotten body laying in front of her now and she knew exactly who that man was...
It was Alessandro Russo! She remained calm and slowly took her phone out of her pocket. She had to call Regina and ask for backup.

They had to take the body for investigation... As much as she wished for the case to be easier this time and turn out to be a scam she wasn't that lucky.. there was a dead body! And that made everything even more serious.

There was a murderer out there and who knows if Fiona, Sarah and Rodolfo were killed as well? The possibilities were slowly increasing. She took a closer look towards the body and noticed a couple of scratches and bruises onto Alessandro's wrists. He was probably attached to a rope that made his wrists bleed.

She pressed Regina's phone number and soon she managed to listen to her voice coming from the other line of the phone.

"Swan?"
"Hey! Where are you?"
She asked in shock.
