Part 16

EMMA POV

It's been a month since she proposed to me, were staying strong together, my baby bump is becoming more visible each day, my mood swings are getting worse and Christine is always busy for work. I hate it when she leaves, I don't want to brag but in just a month, Christine became the CEO of already 28 companies. What a great start eh?

Speaking of Christine, I just hear her park her car outside. Luckily I learned to cook different kinds of food with the help of both our moms. 

CHRISTINE POV

I've been busy with work lately but of course I still make sure to spend time with my fiance. About the wedding, we decided that it would take place after she gives birth. 

When I entered our house she welcomed me with a quick kiss and a warm embrace

"Hey babe.. Did you eat already?" I asked my fiance

"Nah I was waiting for you" That was sweet

"Okay well lets eat" I said

We sat and ate quietly, not awkwardly but like peacefully

"Hey babe I need to go to work early tomorrow" I said while cleaning up the dishes

"Oh okay babe" She answered

"I'll make it up to you okay?" I said and she nodded

I went up and had a quick shower then went to bed.

I woke up early for work so I prepared and go to my car and drove to my Office

EMMA POV

I woke up with an empty bed. I know I shouldn't be upset but I really miss her. She's been working her butt off for the whole week. 

My thoughts were interrupted as the doorbell rang

When I opened the door, no one was there except a bouquet of flowers and a Louis Vuitton bag. I picked it up and checked if there was a note. The note was placed inside the bouquet of flowers.

The letter says:

To my loved one, you may not see me everyday, but I promise that I'll be watching you from time to time and I'll make sure that you'll get the love that you deserve. I will treat you like a queen when nobody does : )

Aw how sweet of Christine to write this. She thought I wouldn't know who gave me this, she even wrote anonymous in it. Oh well she's still sweet to give me these. 

I kept the flowers and the bag and began to do my chores

CHRISTINE POV

I've been super busy this week and I wanted to make it up to Emma. I took a 1 week leave at work and decided to have a vacation out of the country. I was thinking Paris or Greece. 

I decided to go to Greece and we will be taking the family's private jet. 

Hours has passed and it's time to go home. I excitedly went to my car and drive my way home

When I entered the house I was welcomed by my loving Fiance who seems to be very very happy. I wonder why

"Hey baby, why do you look so happy?" I asked while kissing her forehead

"Oh nothing I just received the bouquet and LV bag you gave me" She replied which made me wonder. I didn't give her anything

"Babe, I hate to burst your bubble but, I didn't give you anything" I confessed

"Oh come on don't make jokes my love, don't worry I love it" She said

"Baby I'm serious, I didn't get you anything" I said 

"What? T- then who gave me these?" She asked nervously

"I don't know.. Is there a note or anything" I asked and she nodded

She got the note and I read it

"Oh my God babe I know who it is!" She exclaimed
